Lets please not turn this into something negative. I coach for one of the teams that Legacy beat. They are a great team and we simply got beat. I give them all the credit in the world for being a 8th grade team and competing at that level. They are very well coached and great players. I would like to celebrate the fact that the 3 teams left standing at the end were all from NKY and I think that speaks a lot to the direction girls basketball in NKY is going. There are a lot of good people putting in a lot of hard work to advance the level of girls basketball in our area and all these girls have worked very hard.

Very solid team played very well against us. Congrats on a great tournament run!

There a lot of programs working hard to get Kentucky girls players college opportunities.
