Looking forward to seeing the talent that shows up Sept 27-29th for the 1st NKY NCAA exposure event.

Will be a great turnout with all the big name players from the 8th, 9th and 10th regions.

Does anyone know what players will be participating?

The participants are still turning in their forms and accepting their invites.

I can tell you that the athletes that were invited were selected from

a select panel of coaches at the HS level from the regions participating.

Girls from, Mason Co, Boone, Ryle, Cooper, Scott, Holmes, Holy Cross, ND,

Brossart, SK, Highlands, NCC, Conner, Shelby Co, Montgomery Co, NCC,

And a few others have all received invites.

The level of skill at this camp will have 2 different levels.

You will see the most current All Stars and the Up and Coming All Stars

to keep your eyes on.

This event is not only for our athletes but for parents of athletes and fans to attend.

We have the pleasure of having Nancy Winstel and Sara Piepho leading

parent sessions to discuss rules and regulations. A lot of valuable

information will be shared on what and how you can

assist your athlete in reaching her next level of playing.

We welcome you to attend and watch what is offered to these exceptional athletes from NKY.

Does anyone know what players are attending this yet? Or better yet what universities are attending?

I believe a pair of Bracken County players received invites--guards Bailey Cummins (Sophomore) & Emma Conley (Senior).

Thanks for the info. :thumb: I plan to be there on Saturday. Hopefully.

Great question....What colleges and/or scouts have confirmed that they will be at this event to scout talent?

I am just as anxious to hear who is attending as you are but I don't have that information yet. I did find out a few of the colleges that will either be attending or receiving the coach's packet that will include a video of all the games are: NKU, Bowling Green State University, Transy, Bluffton...that's all I have at this time. Several conversations with coaches from other colleges have taken place but they are awaiting the final list of committed players, which will come out sometime this weekend.

As soon as I receive any other information I will be sure to share it with you.

I would think the most talented players may perhaps be competing in the exposure tournaments where a much larger number of college coaches/scouts will be in attendance since they only get one weekend to shine.

You bring up a great point but the issue is most of our local talent doesn't realize the opportunities that they have available or they simply were not invited b/c they haven't been seen. Hence the reason the NKY Elite camp was started b/c a lot of our talent is missing out. Some parents and athletes and even members of BGP's didn't realize that the girls were able to attend a camp or play the weekend of the 27th. Which is another thing we are trying to do is to educate the parents of the players and show them the opportunities available. We have 2 sessions for spectators/parents etc. to attend where discussions will revolve around Cliff Notes on NCAA Rules and Regulations, What parents can do to assist their athlete in getting to the next level and what players need to do. Sportsworx will be at the camp as well to answer recruiting questions etc. These sessions will take place Friday the 27th at 6:30pm and Sunday the 29th at 1:30pm. For logistic reasons I wish our girls in Louisville were going to the Northern Ky exposure event, but the Chicagoland one does have many more colleges attending. The colleges attending are posted on the other thread. With success of the Northern Ky camp, maybe next year the Louisville contingent will attend instead of heading to Chicagoland.
