Its Friday so....T!C!B! RAMS!!

Well practice so far this week has been good, but worried about how full strength we will be. Oliver Springs presents some tough challenges for the Jackets. Hope this young group isn't looking past this to the playoffs!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this will be a close one but Jackson pulls it off 13 -7

The Burg will have a rough time in this one...heard we may have a couple starters out...hope they get back healthy for the playoffs!

Afraid it will be a rough night for the Colonels but heck I hope they pull off the upset!

Williamsburg has a tough one this week. Oliver Springs invades Rose - Stanfill and is a big mean group. They are very physical and run a very nice offensive scheme. They also are senior dominated which may spell a problem for these Young Jackets. Watched OS on film and came away very impressed. They have a very nice option game and spread you out to run. The Jackets will have to be very disciplined and play assignment defense. This will be a match up of youth and speed versus power and experience. This will be a very tough game for the Jackets.

Lynn Camp came out early and drove the ball down the Jackets throats...but then the Jackets regained composure and threw the ball well. LC did pretty much shut down the running game, but just couldn't keep up with the Jackets speed at receiver. Corey Shelton had a big night with over 100 yards receiving, and Skyler Griffith also had close to 100 tonight. LC has some nice looking players was especially impressed with #26. Well Daddy Cat since you are so hung up on the Phrase "put in place" I'll dissappoint you and say nice win Jackets, always good to defeat a huge rival.

Hope the Rams continue to roll!

With the rain this week I'm sure the field conditions won't be great at LC...what effect does this have on the game...Williamsburg wants to air it out and be quick strike...LC will pound it at you...I'm going to take the Jackets by 8. Jacket Pride !!

Congrats Coach...never met you but from all I've read on here you are very deserving!!!

I truly expect, despite any shortcomings they have, the Campers to fight their guts out...let's face it you win this one it makes the season a whole lot more paletable... I just hope these young Jackets are geared up and ready because I know the Campers will be...

Just a side note ...Williamsburg's Middle school advances in the state playoffs with a win over Campbellsville last night...Congrats Junior Jackets!

It appears everyone predicting a pretty lopsided affair, however, I'm not in that mindset...Having watched a number of years of this rivalry, other than Blowouts by Lynn Camp during the Chafin - Reynolds era, this has been a very hard fought and relatively close series. I know the Burg is on a pretty good streak against the Campers, but as I said previously, throw the records out the window. This will be a dog fight and I do think the Burg will win, but I expect the Campers to compete hard and make it closer than most expect...more later in the week...

I hope you are right. The offense the first half at C'ville was as good as it gets, but the second half and on into the Berea game we stunk it up.
