  1. Actually there was a mistake...the person doing the screen work on the warmups suffers from severe dyslexia.
  2. Here in Woodward's Crossing, you seldom see this mixture being enjoyed anymore. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/546081/coke_and_peanuts/
  3. What time is the championship game? How long before tipoff do the doors open?
  4. I was confident this would be a battle. I can't help but pull for a KCC/PCC final. If that happens it will be some kind of atmosphere.
  5. Yes it will. I think KCC pulls away late though.
  6. I feel like KCC is the best team but PCC has the easier road to the finals, so I'm taking PCC to win it.
  7. I'm thinking the same thing. Holmes is the favorite, but they've not shown an ability to beat teams the way they should.
  8. She is the best I have seen too. Saw her play shortly after Christmas, and she was dominant. Had about 30 points and probably grabbed 15-20 boards against a quality team. Has a very nice shooting stroke for a player her size. No disrespect to the other players mentioned, but the discussion of 10th region best player should be a short one. The quality of schools recruiting Tibbs shows you who that player is.
  9. There are fans that actually support their teams and then there are fans that do nothing but hate.
  10. Perry/Knott in the first round would send the 14th in a frenzy. I for one would actually like to see that.
  11. I wondered that too. I'm in agreement with others that Tomlinson is a shell of his former self but he can still contribute in a big way.
  12. The young man has had an impressive career. I would think he has to be considered a top candidate.
  13. You've got him pegged. He's a self-described 'fickle fan' (http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?p=3717389#post3717389). Interestingly enough, one of the definitions for 'fickle' is 'not constant or loyal in affections.' :sssh:
  14. Doubtful that Letcher moves, but I don't think Knott goes anywhere either. Of course, I thought the same about Scott County a few years back.
  15. Henry Clay isn't bad, but I agree that this should have been a win. But I'm sure Fraley will use this and have the Pats ready for post-season.
  16. As if they weren't going to in the first place? :eyeonyou: I'm sure these two coaches are aware if the cupboard is indeed full. From what I've seen, your girls basketball coach has been doing that. If the information I'm reading is accurate, he's had the team in the regional tournament two years in a row (going on 3?) and won a small-school championship this season. As for your softball coach, it appears that his team has enjoyed quite a bit of success lately. I'm not exactly a ladies softball fan, but I'm seeing a 2009 record of 25 wins to 13 losses with a small school championship, district title, and regional final four berth. From my vantage point, these two men are already doing what you're asking.
  17. Huge win for the Valley coming off the loss to Perry Central. Heading into the post-season with some momentum.
  18. Good for them. I'm simply providing you with the rationale most coaches are using, and that it makes perfectly good sense for them to try and get as much game time in as possible. The teams Mason County has played since January 26 are not quite their caliber, therefore it would be a bit difficult to determine whether they're wearing or rusting out.
  19. A lot of teams in northern/central/eastern part of the state are playing a schedule similar to what your Bears are playing. Mr. Gator accurately pointed out that Monday night's game will be Augusta's 3rd in 4 days. Hasn't been a lot of gym time, so coaches have to get what they can get. Better to wear out than rust out.
