  1. Really hard for me to believe there were 258 players available better than UC LB Ivan Pace. Unanimous 1st team All American and Defensive MVP of the Senior Bowl Ended up signing with the Vikings as UDFA. A lot of teams are going to regret passing on him.
  2. Good question.... A lot of quality depth on next year's team. Jizzle James and Day-Day Thomas will likely be handed the keys from day 1 at the point but the return of Mika Adams Woods allows them time to develop. I think Fredrick is probably locked in as the starter at the 2. Lukosius will have to compete with Dan Skillings for minutes at the 3 but I think he has the versatility to play the 2 through 4. I could see Rayvon making things difficult for both with how advanced he is defensively for an incoming freshman. Reynolds will battle Lahkin to see who starts at the 5. Ody Oguama started at the 4 this season and returns. John Newman also returns after missing the majority of last season to injury. Sophomores Josh Reed and Sage Tolentino seem to be end of bench guys so will be interesting to see if either decide to transfer.
  3. Roster is now complete for 22-23 with the additions of CJ Fredrick and Butler transfer Simas Lukosius.
  4. Raiders took UC WR Tre Tucker in 3rd round... Guess I have two new reasons to follow LV this season.
  5. Shefter mentioned last night that Levis fell because a few teams were worried about the toe injury and the others felt he came off as being "too cocky and arrogant" during interviews, despite being on a "bad team".
  6. Dante finished his Indiana State career with the most receiving yards in program history after finishing his high school career with the most receiving yards in NKY history. He was invited to Notre Dame's pro day after scouts requested to see him there and also participated in the Bengals local pro day. Highlight of this past season included being 1st team all conference and 5 catches for 90 yards against Purdue in the season opener.
  7. UC lost their three best shooters with the losses of Nolley, Dejulius, and Davenport. If CJ can stay healthy, he has shown the ability to shoot at an elite level. He will have plenty of opportunities to showcase what he can do.
  8. Now rated the second highest commit in the class after receiving a high 3* grade by 247.
  9. Mussleman has crushed it in the transfer portal this off-season. He's added Tramon Mark, Khalif Battle, Jeremiah Davenport, and now El Ellis. A lot of scoring and guard depth there.
