  1. Compared to last year speed is obviously down....Braden ran an electronically timed 4.5....but we still have at least 7 players faster than anyone on the East team, maybe as high as 10. West pulls away as the game goes on.
  2. Short answer I guess would be everyone listed in the ADI football preview.......Ashland, Boyd, East, Fairview, Greenup, J Central, Lawrence, Paintsville, Raceland, Rowan, Russell, West, Lewis, Fleming, Bath, Morgan are all listed........anyplace else?
  3. Little too early to rely on stats but who passes the "eye test" for the best RB in NEKY? My vote is Boyd's Christian Braly...........he is a dude!
  4. I agree 1000%..........he certainly has done it before. Rowan will win one game this year......last game of the season against East Carter.
  5. I agree with oldramber and the toss up........just don't know what to think about Greenup scoring 31 last week against a talented Fleming Co.....has the GC offense found itself? Raceland in a close one because the Rams O/D line has more depth than GC.
  6. I do need to apologize to RP5............I stated in the prediction thread that East would have less than 100 yards of total offense......I can admit when I'm wrong. The ADI reported the East had 102 yards for the game. I'm sorry.
  7. RP5...best raceland team in years.....c'mon man. Not even close to the Messer senior year team. Still, the Rams are the best team in the very weak NEKY area.....don't see a deep playoff run or beating Paintsville but the Rams will have a very successful regular season.
  8. Using the "money" excuse at Raceland will not work. How much was that inflatable Ram head ? Grant money pay for facilities because it is considered a "city park"??? Want to see a tight budget? Come to West Carter........amount of money given by BOE for football K-12 (other than MS/HS salaries) .......$0.
  9. And you do a fine job of putting together a great program....with the win over Ashland - best team in the NEKY area this year.....but Greenup co has plenty of resources to feed the program, it's not like you are isolated and limited.
  10. None taken, not trying to start trouble......I respect the Ram program. Just thought it might be a trend for the rest of the season and the future. The Ram O/D line is very, very good and is the main reason for the success since the Messer class graduated.
  11. Greenup has a very good D..........but too many weapons for Fleming. Greenup will not be able to score enough points. Fleming will win their district this year and most likely the EKC. Fleming by 2 plus TD's.
  12. I don't mean any disrespect to the Ram program when I say this, obviously the Rams have been good for a long time, BUT............I'm starting to see some cracks in the foundation. When this run of good lineman is over things may be tough for RamNation. Skill players have been down for few years, JV is down, West Middle put a very fast running clock on the Ram 8th grade, West's 7th grade beat the Ram 7th grade.............again, not a hater........just an observation.
  13. I've tried to stay away but seeing this prediction compels me to respond......you can't be serious? Support your team, but this is going to be a running clock. Raceland has the best O/D line in NEKY, east will have less than 100 yards in total offense during varsity action.
  14. Where is your pic in a west football shirt raider5? Just go ahead and drop pride from your username.
  15. Figured you were more of a goat man.
  16. Your an intellectual giant Ram Time..............I better explain to ya that's said with sarcasm, since your on the "Old McDonald Had A Farm" level.
  17. First half should be interesting, then the Rams O/D line will prove to much.
  18. West by 3+ TD's.........SC is down. Offensively they run a lot of different sets which tells me they are searching and can't find one offense to run effectively. Defensively their safety has the most tackles on the team, which usually spells trouble at the high school level. West still has to show up and make plays. A bunch of turnovers and it's anyone's game.
  19. West will be the favorite, will give my objective analysis in a day or two after further study and research.
  20. When some ram fans degrade a whole community and are not objective it's ok. When I give a little back its the end of the world. If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen. Good game between two even teams. When Raceland struggles its against teams with a lot of skill or a few players with exceptional skill. Which I've said from opening day.
  21. You sure do think about the comets a lot......thats twice you've mentioned a game 9 months from now , must mean you have nothing to look forward to in the more immediate future.
  22. Not the first time but hope all is well.
  23. Done deal, it will be in a plastic bag on top of the goal post pad. Goal post near the scoreboard. I'm not standing there all night waiting on someone who is not going to show up.
