  1. I would have to disagree on that one hja1224. Leiff is IMO is the best shortstop in Northern Kentucky. Travis Jones is a good player on a bad team, he IMO is a little overrated.
  2. Way to go rebels :dancingpa Very good hitting by the rebels, Cotton smoked the ball tonight!
  3. Today Boone County's left fielder, and pitcher Nate Alford signed with Thomas More. Congrats Nate!:dancingpa
  4. Does anybody know who won between Boone and Cooper?
  5. Your not making excuses already are you? I'm not sure about the "slope" problem you are talking about, but I do have to say they probably have the highest mound in the region.
  6. With it being just pass halfway through the regular season, teams have been going up and down a lot in the coaches poll. Whats your top 10? 1. Dixie 2. Beechwood 3. Cov Cath 4. Boone County 5. Bishop Brossart 6. Ryle 7. Conner 8. New Cath 9. Campbell County 10. Holy Cross IMO i don't see many new teams entering this top 10 obviously some moving around amongst these teams will take place, but I am pretty sure these teams will always make up the top 10 this year.
  7. Does anyone know about Thompson from Boone?
  8. Correction it ends at 2pm on Wednesday! So keep voting:thumb:
  9. TTT Boone/Dixie is in the lead! We need to keep voting the poll ends Wednesday at 2pm. Keep Voting
  10. The Boone County Dixie game on 4/28, is up for WLWT's News 5 game of the week! In order to get the highlights on the news that evening they must get the most votes. It would be awesome to see two good NKY teams finally get some time on the news (rather than every ohio team) . To vote go to: http://www.wlwt.com/high-school-playbook/index.html then scroll down and on the right hand side is the poll. Be sure to click Boone and Dixie!
  11. :dancingpa Great win for the rebels:dancingpa
  12. Boone County heads out to Hebron to take on Conner for this Distric Seeding Matchup. Game time is 5:00 pm, any thoughts?
  13. It was for them. truely a selfish move I agree but I can quote Schulze on saying " its not worth three hour practices five days a week to only get in for twenty seconds." He said this to me after the Holmes game which was the last one he played in before he left. Very selfish but I can understand. Should not have waited till two weeks left in the season I also agree on. But its ultimently why keep playing if its no longer fun?
  14. For the past two years of there varsity time the players dont like how he coaches. He has had so much talent though it seems like his style is working. With McQueary its if you get in and do good you stay in. but miss one shot or have a bad play you come right out. It just seems he doesnt give these kids a shot at what they can do because their affaid to make a mistake.
  15. If you havent noticed yet losing Schultz and Popp has played a big part into there lack of scoring. Without Popp driving the lane it has become tougher for Boone to create more open shots. Both these kids left due to McQuearys coaching style. Hopefully Mikey can shut down Grant tomorrow night and have a big win over NCC. I would say Boone over NCC by 6. Also without Popp having at least 15 against Ryle both games played, was a major contributer to the loss. But Mitch as a heck of a game and would love to see him down in state.
  16. Since we already have top freshmen through juniors, i fiqured all that was left was the senior class! This years senior class compared to years past I would have to say is just as good if not better. You just don't have that overall stud such as farris or maile in years past. Any thoughts??
  17. Any thoughts about Boone this year? We all know that the 33rd Distric will be very tough this year, where it can be any teams disrict. I would feel very comfortable saying that a team from the 33rd will win the 9th region. Now Back to Boone  I see Boone has having a very good team this year, their pitching from what i know will be about the same as last year if not better. I believe their Defense and Offense will both improve. With their very tough schedule this year i imagine their record will not be as good as last year, but then again their great winning record didn't do them much good, for loosing the 1st game of districs. Any thoughts???
  18. I do have to agree with the majority of the people, there is no way and I mean no way that Walton has the best field in the NATION. I can say that St. Henry and PRP fields are MUCH better. IMO there must be some sort of politics involved in the selecting of the winner. Espically for WV to win this award twice, you have to be kidding me! I would love to see someone disagree with me, and back it up with some pictures.
