After a slobernocker of a game against Lex Cath the Oakers play a very improved Caldwell team this friday...Will LO have a letdown or stay the course on the way to the state playoffs. For my money Cameron Looper looked as good as any QB in the state friday for the Oakers, Was it a one shot wonder? Thoughts? Comments?:ylsuper:

Well Swamp thang after the game downtown is a nice place to have a meal..Go to Does place fore the best steak in town, its on broadway and second i think....There is always the Casino in Illinois about 20 min. from the field... or there are several resturaunts off exit 4 some with bars..There is a place called wingstop next to Kohls off exit 4 that has pretty good wings...We are not near as big as Lexington so pretty much eat, drink be merry...Good luck this friday ...............But not too much luck:D

Yeah the AP poll has Lone Oak at 5 , the Bluegrass preps have them at 8 and if Marion is 0-2 they are ranked at 5 I think?

Great points , but you also have to take in consideration that the starters have not played a second half this year for the Oakers...In the Ballard game it was 51 - 0 early in the second qtr. Reidland gave us a little scare but it was still freshman in at halftime and we coul have hung up 100 on them if we wanted..Marshall....,,,, well lets just not say anything about them maybe the worst coached team ive seen in a while, Didnt make one adjustment all night to stop our blitz. So you really cant get a good fell for the outcome..Also you have to take into consideration that LO has nothing to loose and everything to gain. If LO looses and LC wins everybody expected it ,,but if LO wins that could give the Oakers enough for a real state run:clap:

I would agree that LO has a more balanced team..LC on film looks like their trying to find their identity..You know the old saying "If you have 2 QB's you dont have any".. Well i think that is true here..LO offensive line play is going to dictate this game i think..If they play well and give the Oakers some running lanes and Looper some time to find open recievers LO will have a true shot at this one. I would say based on what ive seen 34-31 LO wins.............Hopefully!!

Your right but after years of terrible to mediocre teams in LO we have got to brag a little and with the consolidation looming it may be a long time before we dominate like this again....so dont hate .As for the game it will be a close one i think but a W is a W and Mayfield will pull it out, --------34-28:notworthy: "34 switchblade for the state championship......I love y'all" .

All i know is a W is a W nomatter how many points its by...alot of times teams play down or up depending on the strength of the opponent...so any score is poss.

As does LO... 7 Fresh Soph played on last Years Varsity team and did'nt get to play JV or Fresh ball...There are 4 Fresh that play this year............:ylsuper:

I believe that LO has the best young talent in the Purchase area as shown by their undefeated Freshman and JV teams last year..I would even be as bold to say that i smell a state ring in the next 3 years......Just sayin' IMO

Easy just was making a point of the Marshalls skill leavel this year i agree that Mayfield is a very talented team but lets not go overboard on the best team in the Purchase quote... There is alot left to prove.

Everybody knows that LO is about 70% sophs starting sooo it will be youth vs. youth

From the games played i would agree Marshall not a team of measure... I believe the Marshalls lost to a 1 A school???? Also as a side note LO beat Warren East in 07 to go to the state finals.............W E Raider
