  1. I agree with both grizzly, and Futurecoach. Bridgewater is not the answer in Cleveland.I'm still holding out for the Alex Smith/Darnold scenario. let Darnold develop behind Smith, keep working on Kizer. You can have Rosen!!! There's no law that says you can't have two good starters at Q.B.. Worked out pretty good for San Diego when they had Brees ... and Rivers. It gives you a lot of trade power!!! Cousins has said in the last week,he would be interested in Cleveland. I'm not a big cousins guy,but at this point, what the hell!!!! If he is signed to a long term deal, that changes everything. But then,i have heard Gruden wants him to stay,so he may not be a option. At #4 ,there's a lot in play. Just to throw out names,i like m. Fitzpatrick-s Bama . S. Smith-lb Georgia, and ...either or,O. Brown-ot Okl./C.Williams-ot Texas. R.B. is not a big priority. Plenty of options in the 2nd,and 3rd rounds to get a solid back. Duke Johnson will get some snaps too. i just can't help myself though...thinking they will find away to screw this up...AGAIN!!!! How the browns could use another Paul Brown!!!... but, lets see what Dorsey can do. They only have to win "a game" ,to do better than last season....lol!
  2. "FUM-BLLLLLLEEEEE" !!!!!! What a voice!!!! Such a professional. R.I.P. Mr. Jackson.
  3. Old Grappler, I totally agree with you. I guess we will just have to see. one thing I have really had a problem with over the last 20 or so years, is teams taking quarterbacks and throwing them right out onto the field, to sink or swim. I just wonder how many young quarterbacks have been ruined by doing this. A few guys can handle it , like the wentz's and going back to Marino ,even Peyton Manning ,but most need time to mature. for a sport that claims the quarterback position is the toughest on all sports ,they sure the hell don't have any problem throwing these young players to the wolves, and basically wasting a lot of money . just my opinion.
  4. I agree Grantnky. But just a pipe dream for now. A lot has to happen to get there. They have screwed it up so badly over the years,i really don't have a lot of hope. It's gotten to the point where anything they do,both good,and...mostly bad,i am numb to. At this point,I'm just stepping back and letting the chips fall...lol!
  5. I'm a browns fan.I listen to WKNR about everyday. This can change ,especially after the play-offs,but...the talk in Cleveland is,Dorsey makes a play for Alex Smith. They draft Darnold and let him sit behind Smith. Kizer keeps working on his game also. At #4 they take the best available ....probably c.b. Fitzpatrick from Bama. Figure Barkley won't get past indy at #3. Personally, i like that scenario. Don't know if i happens,we will see. BTW , the o-line there is in good shape. Especially if Thomas comes back. but I'd have no problem with them drafting another o-lineman. Preferably center Billy Price from O.S.U..Just my opinion.

  8. Just heard Dorsey got the job. Going to wait and see with him. I like the fact that he is old school, and a good Evaluator. Just been burned too much with the browns over the last 19 years. I'm not even pumped about it. They are such a cluster!!!! Naming Sashi Brown g.m. was a big mistake!!!All he was before was a lawyer for Jacksonville. Then you put him in charge of picking players!!!! Who didn't see that train wreck coming. Reminds me of the Bengals of the "90"'s, with Jim Lipincott as the director of player personnel. HE CAME FROM MOELLER HIGH SCHOOL!!!! You saw how great the Bengals were in that decade!!! Good luck browns. We will see.

  10. As far as Chris Welsh, and i know him a little. Played for him one year at baseball heaven, i thought he was much more opinionated when he started with the reds. But i have noticed over the past 4 or 5 years, he seems [at least to me] to have started toeing the company line. A lot less criticism. A lot more happy talk!!! rah, rah, rah!!!! I like mediocre nachos ideal for his dad,but I'd make sure the t-shirt is autographed by Chris too. ....lol!
  11. he does more games than you think. I just think he's overstayed his welcome. the same way Tim McCarver was around longer than he should have been. but it's just my opinion. My main point would be, can we settle on a set two, to do radio, and a set two ,to do television? Is that possible? ...lol!
  12. I have no problem with Kelch going...as long as George Grand goes too!!! He was good back in his day. [early '80''s] but he is just god awful irritating to me. Plus,he supposedly retired like....five years ago!!! Just go George!!!! It has become ridiculous with the amount of broadcasters/part time broadcasters this franchise has. Marty,Thom,Cowboy,Kelch,Welsh,Grand,Flynn,Morgan,Casey....from time to time. HOLY CRAP!!!! They have more announcers than prospects!!!! Thin the heard is what i say. Maybe you'll save enough money to afford a free agent...lol!!!

  19. Look,u.k. football is what it is!!!! I'm realistic! I get it!!! If they can get to a bowl game every three out of four years, that would be great!!! I'll take it. My problem is, since the season started is a lot of these "fans" running their mouths that the cats could be 9-1 going to Georgia ...really? Not from what i've seen. You slide by e.k.u.,a bad Missouri team, and choke against Florida, and now your going to pretty much run the table? As i said earlier in the season....I'm not seeing it. i hope they finish strong. Beat Louisvlle!!! ...get to bowl. But don't pee on my head, and tell it's raining!!!! ....LOL!!! That's what i feel some people are doing. GO CATS!!!
  20. i think Lipton bash nailed it. If they do any thing, it's get rid of Brown and De Podesta. I would search for a experienced, qualified G.M., who is a Hue Jackson fan,and can be on the same page as the coaching staff.Tthen.......tell Jimmy Haslem to shut up,keep his nose out off running the football operation, and just sign the frigg'in checks!!! But fat chance of that happening!!! To me,front office is a mess.Give Jackson another year or two.But to me,Jackson has to get a offensive coordinator also. He needs to over see the whole team. Some of his decisions in game situations, have been god awful!!! But chances are, they'll "F" it up ....AGAIN!!!
