If East can save the Stapleton kid for Greenup could be an interesting matchup.

He is a good kid and I do root for him to do well. Its just that shortstop stop is not his postion he would probably benefit from playing a different postion. I do know he tries his best but if this was football and he was the quarterback and throwing int's there would be a change to a different postion and a new quarterback.

Don't really care about football it's baseball season. That's the problem people can't seperate the two especially the Rams coaching staff. Don't get me wrong the coaches are good people but if it was football they would not hesitate to make the changes on the football field if the same person kept making mistakes there would be changes.:irked:

We will keep the 3rd baseman he is a good defensive player.He is a little streaky hitting but will be a real good player before he leaves. You can have the shortstop back !!!!!!!!!

It isn't so much Raceland needs to find some pitching. They need to find some defesense.The pitchers aren't walking people. Yes they may not overpower you but when you can't field routine ground balls something is wrong. When you have error after error and then a base hit it's not the pitchers fault he gave up runs. You should be able to field routine grounders and fly balls at the high school level. Pitching is not about striking people out even though it is nice to be able to have that ability.:ylsuper:

East would probably be the best draw for Raceland. We havent played you all yet. Yes we lost to Fleming but we threw an 8th grader. Also Raceland has lost 10-1run ballgames that they could just have easliy won we are better than our record indicates and I am not so sure East is as good as you think they are.

You hit the nail right on the head Old Rambler. You can't play like that against a team as good as Greenup and expect to win. It will get you beat against most teams the way our defense played tonite. I was at the game tonite and it was hard to watch.These boys are much better than this. Again congrats to Greenup. Now for all you Rams just shake this off and get ready for the Region.You guys are good enough to make a run at the Region Championship. Just play hard and don't give up and goog things will happen.:ylsuper:

Congrats to Greenup but the difference in this game was plainly defense. Greenup Co. 0-errors Raceland 8-errors.

If both teams play like they are capable it will be a good close ballgame

I don't know about luck but determination yes. Yes you mercied us at Greenup I know but it was just 6-5 at our place and I know that was early in the season but we are playing better baseball right now as are you all. I think it will be a close game. We just can't afford to make mistakes defensively or Greenup will make us pay for them.

I agree that Greenup has to be the favorite here but everyone acts like we don't have a chance. We are better than our record indicates. We have suffered alot of 1 run loss games but we have turned it around. If we play like we are capable of we will give Greenup a ballgame. I see this game being with in 2 runs either way for the winner. Good luck Rams.

I think it was #5. Dont know his name, but he was all over the place. He didnt make it through the 2nd. Raceland pitched Reed, probably their 4th or 5th pitcher.

Im shocked that Ashland didn't draw Rose Hill.

Yes, errors are really killing the Rams. They committed 8 against Fairview. Hoof needs to quit being stubborn and make some changes.
