First night on BGP's since I got home on Sunday afternoon. I was afraid there would be negativity instead of pride and rejoicing for the outstanding play that was witnessed in Rupp. I am a graduate of Elliott and would still go back and play if I could but never will again. This is how much I love that tiny little county. I don't expect anyone to understand that unless you are from there. I am sure that the same passion is felt by the rest of the folks who participate in discussions/debate on these forums. With all the cheese and wine stuff said I will say this: I was one of the many booo's that rang out when those no-calls or (IMO) wrong calls were made but that does not in anyway take away the respect that I gained for a very good Holmes team. I applaud their poise and their coach for the way he directed that team. The bottomline to me is everyone had the same hurdles to jump and debating the bracket and it's potential issues for certain teams won't change the winner in the program moving forward. I will always remember being in front of Elliott's band when it was over and looking up through our crowd and seeing all those teared up eyes. That in itself was all I needed. I congratulate Covington Holmes and their win. You folks worked hard enough to get the job done and those boys should hear it.

I found out when I went to the window that if you tell them you want 4 in lower, they will sell you lower. But, if you tell them you want more than 4 then they bounce you upstairs with up to 8 tickets to be fair. You can devise your strategy based on that but seating availability should change after tonight's sessions have ended.

Speaking of fan support, I know a fan that yelled so much last night that they are worried about being on the DL tonight. Anyone have a Mr. Meyogi(spelling) fix for tonight?

I am at work today and ain't worth a spit. All I can think about is getting in Rupp and seeing this thang happen! I know that EC wants the title, plain and simple. And I am sure the other schools feel the exact same but it makes you feel just so strong about your team right now. I am not happy that Eastern, KY was represented in the lower bracket like this (Exception of Hazard) but that is over now so we must root for our boys to get it done. I am happy however that SV has been able to grow their program very strong as like they have. I just hate that they and EC have to meet like this.

I just got into this thread so see what was being said about the match-up between Elliott and Anderson. This is after I see the Holmes pepes and Elliott pepes throwing rotten taters back and forth in the championship thread. So anyway I get back in here to see what is being said and low and behold there is someone in this thread preaching the Holmes thing here too. Maybe its because I'm new and don't know the ropes but to quantify my thought I went into the Christian Co vs Holmes thread to see if someone from Elliott had their bible out in there but to my surprise I only saw Elliott referenced 2 times and neither of which was someone talking them up. Again maybe its because I'm the newby. I just know I will be in Rupp next week to see what happens. I am just happy for the parents of these young men and hope they all get to enjoy through their son's eyes the sense of pride and honor to get to play in the House that Rupp Built!! Out of 120 counties only 16 programs made it. That is awesome to me!

I haven't seen too many of these other teams play but if Elliott gets their run on and Ferguson gets his long rang shoulder launcher going, it will be a tough night for whomever gets them. The twins are leaders with a ball and work great with the Knipp bro's as well. Its the big dance of the state. I hope all you folks enjoy your teams in the house the Rupp built!!!!! Elliott beat Mason in Sandy Hook pretty convincing. But, then Elliott turns around and has a terrible game day in Richmond at the Class-A and Shelby Valley gave them a whippin. Of course Mason probably didn't have a great game at the Hook when they drove up into the hills to play the boys there too. I am saying Mason gets it together and holds off SV's smothering court pressure and quick outs. Mason 73-67
