Elliott County favorite says Litkenhous Ratings

The final Litkenhous Ratings of the year are out for boys' basketball, and they favor Elliott County to take this week's title at the National City Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena.

 

Here are the rankings for the 16 teams that qualified for the State Tournament. Overall state rankings are in parentheses:

 

Elliott County (No. 2) 95.0

Eastern (No. 3) 93.1

Mason County (No. 6) 92.3

Holmes (No. 7) 91.7

Shelby Valley (No. 9) 89.7

Lexington Catholic (No. 10) 89.7

Wow. 5 hours later and I saw no posts on this thread. I think at this point we all are saying to heck with the polls and lets just play ball. Elliott is one here, five in cantrall, five in the last BGP Poll (of the 16 remaining teams). Just a few more days and we will all be experts and have a perfect poll.
