  1. The brand new facility behind the backstop went unnoticed? Locker rooms, new indoor batting cages, and weight lifting room? :idunno:
  2. Depends how far Beechwood's fences are. :sssh:
  3. How long has it been since CovCath hasn't had one standout player? My guess is 8+ years.
  4. Not sure when they're going to redo the visitor's side but I know it's in the plans somewhere.
  5. I'm a CovCath fan, and since Boone knocked us out once, I'm rooting for Conner . My honest opinion is that Boone will come knocking back on Conner's door here in a couple innings.
  6. Depends how many innings are pitched.
  7. So what is your point? They are 3-1 against top 10 teams this year and beat the teams that they are supposed to beat. . . :idunno:
  8. Isler committed last night to UC, and I don't believe for pitching. (maybe I'm wrong) :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
  9. In no way is that an error MLB. You might call that an unofficial "team" error but that is ruled a double. You might have missed the last play of the game which is technically a hit.
  10. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention last year against Beechwood when Elliot threw CCH put up 8.
  11. No chance Shumate throws. If anything it's either Isler, Nutini, or Krumme at a long shot. Only reason Nutini might throw is because he's on an extra days rest, but if Isler's feeling good on Wednesday (which he should because that would be 3 days rest) he will be going.
  12. CovCath put up 5 against a kid from Franklin Co. throwin 90+ the entire game with control. I think it's safe to say they can put up a few more against Smith.
  13. Wednesday the Rivaled district seed game between Beechwood and CovCath goes down. AJ Smith should be throwing for Beechwood and Isler for CovCath, I would think. I'll take CovCath 8-1. What are your thoughts?
  14. Everyone expected this I would think.
  15. Final. Isler pitcher 7 complete giving up 1 ER.
  16. CCH continues to beat top 25 teams. 3-1 against the top 10.
  17. If someone says poor pitching is the reason we lost, that's stating WHY the team lost. It's not an excuse.
  18. Pitching is why they lost, of the 7 runs, 4 or so were by walk or HBP. I find this to be a fair "excuse." It's ok though, in the regionals when Dixie sees one of CCH's best, I'm sure they'll get the job done.
  19. Ryle's taking some beating this year.
  20. When Iclers on the mound and dealing, I'll put them #1 in the state.
  21. Too many balls that didn't fall for CovCath along with a rough inning from Klein. Take out the walks and HBP's in the 4th, CCH wins the game. Then again you can say that for every game.... Krumme came in and did a nice job after Klein got out of control. CovCath had too many chances to win this game and there's nothing you can do about hitting rockets right at people. This one doesn't bother me too much though. Nice win for Dixie. (By the way Luke's HR was a bomb.)
  22. They lost today.
