D1 recruiters and coaches don't frown upon opposite field hitting, I explained that it may take away from showing his true power at the plate.

Keep in mind, great 9th region catcher. The 3 main issues I see Division 1 talent wise is his arm is a little weak for D1, and he doesn't have enough power at the plate, and his speed on his feet. I also noticed he likes to go the other way (right center) with the ball at the plate which could take away from his potential to show his strength offensively.

All I'm saying is he is not a D1 talent. He has a good shot at a D2 or any NAIA or D3, but from what I've seen, he is not anywhere close to D1 talent. A lot of D1 scouts/coaches might say they're "interested" in a player, but it's not as if an offer is immediately on the table. Again, take it how you want it, but when there is someone that looks as if they can make it in Division 1 baseball, yes, I do think I can see it, and I don't see it in Sam. You can interpret my comment as "arrogant" or make it sound like I'm a know it all, but I've been around D1 baseball enough to know a thing or two. Obviously not everything. Again, back to Sam. Not D1 talent, IMO.

He's a great player 9th region player, he is not D1 talent IMO. Take it how you want it.

Because they don't want to learn to use a completely new system like CCH said. My mom has enough trouble using a PC that it would make her head explode to start all over with a new system, even if it is easier.

I know D1 talent when I see it.

Anyone who won't admit that Macs are better computers than PCs have to be too lazy to learn to use a Mac. Proof...talk to my mom. :taz:

MAC!!! There is no doubt in my mind there's a better laptop out on the market than a MacBook. I have zero complaints about mine and the MacBook pro's start at $999 which isn't that bad at all if you're looking for quality.

The CovCath football program is far better off with Wirth. Not many people were ever really happy with Brossart, inside and out, which is exactly what led to his "resigning." He was not fit for the job and that's all that should be said about it. :thumb:

I think it's 50% a mental thing as well. Not to mention doesn't have the best of wheels on him. But again, defensively he's fantastic.

I'm sorry I'm going to have to disagree. He's far from being anything close to a good hitter.

He struggles at the plate. Defensively he's a big pickup.

Next game at Georgetown, I think I'll be in attendance.

Heard Adam had an awesome summer. That should be fun to see him on the mound because I think he started Varsity pitching one game as a freshman and hasn't started since.

I like Dixie, Ryle, and Connor as the favorites. I would love to say CovCath is a favorite but they have lost entirely too much to stay in the top 3 or 4 teams, IMO. Breakout player of the year is Hempl from Ryle. Smooth swinging lefty with a ton of potential.
