It’s not the fact they were 0-7, it’s the fact that our offense put up 38 against the worst offense in the league and our defense is so bad we couldn’t even win!

That Broncos game was nuts!

Would really like to see the Jets win this Sunday against Carolina before this game. Something about the Jets being 0-7 coming into this game and being desperate scares me and they have a VERY good defense.

Wasn’t it bases loaded? If we are talking about the same play. I’m talking about the 8-6-2 “ground out” double play that should have actually been a home run I think. It hit the outfielders glove then hit the yellow line. Isn’t that a home run? They threw it home and got the force out then the catcher ran to third and got the force there.

Exactly how I feel! Mariners and Brewers are two of five teams to never win the World Series so it would be nice if one of them could win it. Honestly anybody but the Dodgers!

If the Reds can steal one of the first two games and have Abbott available game 3 I like their chances. All the pressure is on the Dodgers, Reds playing with house money! The only problem is can they score enough runs to win any of the games??

Could definitely be that way. Anything is better than what it is currently with teams in the 3 counties just arbitrarily put in 3 different regions.

I think it’s part of a broader issue that they need to do a MAJOR redistricting. They haven’t done one since 2005 it’s long overdue. No more 3 team districts! Also trying to avoid 6 team districts also. As far as the 8th Region goes, I personally think Spencer along with the Bullitt County schools should move to the 5th Region. Also believe Woodford and Anderson should move to the 11th Region. Also move Simon Kenton and Walton to the 9th Region( which should only be Boone and Kenton County schools). The 4 Franklin County schools should move to the 8th Region. So the 8th would look like this: District 29: 3 Oldham County schools plus Trimble unless they fight it lol. District 30: 4 Franklin County schools District 31: 3 Shelby County schools plus 2 Henry County schools. District 32: Carroll County, Gallatin County, Owen County, Grant County , Williamstown (plus Trimble if they aren’t in the 29th.)

I was talking with my Dad about this the other day. We have said for years with the close proximity of teams in the 9th Region just use the 4 biggest gyms and have opposing District Tournaments there EVERY YEAR. For example, the 35th would be at Conner 33rd at Holmes etc. This way no team gets home court advantage and there is plenty of room/parking. Rotate years which team gets the gate and maybe have the host school keep concessions or something like that. Under the current format however I don’t blame Beechwood at all for hosting at their gym.

I have always thought it should be the other way around. Have the 9th Region be all Boone and Kenton County schools. Move all Campbell County schools to the 10th and move Clark and Montgomery to the 11th or 16th and make the 10th a more “northern” region. Also making the 8th region more “southern.”

It is long overdue I know that!
