Who do you think would be the leading candidates for the job? Who in the county are interested in the position?

I think cellking is trying to bait someone with this post. NO matter what level of talent you have no one will ever walk through a region. This group of players will be battle tested by the time districts get here. There schedule has been ramped up dramatically.

They have won 5 a couple of times. This team should eclipse this easily. These boys have been winners at every level of play and it is carrying over at the high school.

I was not pinpointing any one coach, I should have said some on the staff, my apalogies for grouping you with some of the others that I have heard bash the administration repeatedly in public. Maybe you should try to get them on board with you and your attitude and the view of the staff will change for the good. You along with one of the other assistants on your staff seem to have a positive attitude about the district as a whole. Maybe over time things will improve with the facilities, which are in need of some upgrades.

You are wrong when you state that the administration does not support the football program. The administration does support the kids. Maybe the football coaching staff needs to start supporting the administration and there decisions. I did not realize that there was a problem between the two staffs.

You are wrong when you state that the administration from the top down do not support the football program. Maybe if they were more willing to work with others things would be better for all involved.

I have not heard any of the rumors about Watts not returning. From what I know this group is looking forward to, and already working for next year.

I commented on how well the officiating was after McCrearys first round game with East and the crew lst night officiated the same way, excellent. I can only ho-pe that the person in charge of officials for the 12th region lectures his refs before next year and shows them how the 14th region does it. Can not say enough good things about the atmosphere last night, it was simply electrifying.

Sir Rodney has his players ready for the show and pull the upset 53-51.

If the crowd is twice as big as last night there will not be any room for the Lincoln Co. fans. Monday will definitely be rocking for both fan groups.

Zone or not I think the officiating was far superior to what I have seen in the 12th region in the last few weeks. Our officials are subpar.

It was nice to have three really good referees on the floor at one time. The 14th region refs for our game tonight was really good(for refs). The 12th region is struggling for quality officials this year.

Just got home from the game and the atmosphere from the McCreary fans was unreal. They had at least two thirds of one side of the gym full. THe players are feeding off of the fans energy and vice versa. The McCreary kids are playing with heart and desire. Great match up with Lincoln coming on Monday night.

Tomorrow afternoon around 2:00.

Raiders dominate from the tip to the final buzzer. Great way for he boys to be heading into regional play next week.

Hats off to Monticello for running an excellent District Tournament. I was skeptical about the size of the gym, but they have been very organized thus far. I would also like to commend the Southwestern student section that was behind the Raider bench. They were very rowdy and excited but not one thing was said to the players or coaches on the McCreary bench.

McCreary got took to the Ole wood shed for a whooping tonight. warriors played great ball. I am not some kind of fool to know what i was told about Southwesterns fans comments. I was close on my prediction of 68 - 54 though, wrong team picked to win. Good win for Southwestern, McCreary needs to respond and start playing ball before it is too late.

I am just repeating what i have heard from "some" of the Southwestern crowd. I think the game will be a close game early with McCreary pulling away late. I agree with Warrior 69 in the fact that both teams will play extremely hard the whole game.

McCreary 68 - 53. Word from Southwestern followers is that they are not worried abouth this game, win or lose, becasue they are not wanting to show McCreary anything until there District tournament game.

The shot at the buzzer was not even close to being good. That call was not what got the raiders beat. Not enough scoring from players not named Watts.

Wayne is playing very well. I do not think they will need two more years to be tough.

The statement was for the team to start playing better. This is for future reference in upcoming games.

Time will tell if this is the same ole song and dance for the Raiders. I have confidence in this bunch of players to start playing to their potential and play like a top team in the region.
