It is not a job where you are going to win early, unless you take the schedule way down. Norman at high school and Rose at the middle school have been the first coaches to teach the girls anything. Too many players in the past have played lacking any fundementals. Besides that administration won't give a coach any time to build.

The question will remain of whether those parties that didn't mind ruining the program the first time have influence with this decision. I hope for the kids sake, not.

I enjoyed watching Norman's Frankfort teams play, aggressive on both sides of the ball.

I think that the RIGHT thing to do would be to give it back to Norman. The fact that he would go back proves that it means something to him. He ran camps for the young kids every break and I don't believe I ever seen his car empty, they were always heading someplace to play.

They only way that Ludlow can remain competetive is to build at the elementary and middle school, hope that you get some good West Covington kids, and then not lose any kids to Covington Catholic. Are they building in the early grades?

I agree Coach, most would rather be the "closer" than the set up man. However in this case FHS needs someone that is going to put all that aside. It is not going to be the job that Chalk and Norman had. It is going to be one that needs a strong commitment to develop the kids in the system. I think all parties need to understand that fact. Like Coach Bucket said, you have good athletic kids that need a basketball program.

I believe that the KHSAA roster says they are losing 6 seniors.

Frankfort has a legit chance in getting to the Class A Sweet 16 and just as much of a chance as many do in the 11th region. However much that is. On a side note I have heard that Norman wants to go back.

Actually it wasn't of the talent that they have coming up. The statement reads that the coaching turnover should not be there due to an inability to compete. They have had some really good kids that you could compete with.

How many different coaches does this make in the last 6 years? 5? I don't believe in the not having the ability to compete, they have had a lot of good kids in that time.

The coaches that I know have not left for "greener" pastures due to the coaches salary. It has always been the 10 to 15 thousand dollar difference in teachers pay.

The big difference would come from the teaching salary if there were one, coaching salaries do not vary that much. Although there probably are some exceptions.

I don't remember seeing the Highlands job.
