As a big time Florida fan really loved the outcome of the game. Will give credit to Oklahoma defense. There defense was better than I had figured. For all you Utah, Texas, and USC fans only wish for a playoff to really see who is best but for now GO GATORS.

1. Florida 2. USC 3. Oklahoma 4. Texas 5. LSU Cannot see putting a BIG 10 schoool in this list.

iIs true tha t they were not playing OU. BUT Texas did not look like a world beater against an average Ohio ST. team. Just think BIG 12 defenses are not all tha tough. Think Florida can slow Oklahoma down and think tha OU will not be able to stop Florida.

Tebow did say he wanted a crack at BIG 12 D. After watching OLE MISS and OREGON destroy two BIG 12 Ds. I can see why he made that quote. All I can say better stay out of his way to the end zone DB could get run over.

Agree with all who want a playoff. I think Florida is best with USC second. This is just my opinion. Till NCAA College Presidents get in the 21st century we all will just have to have our own opinions. Go Gators.

Gators by 10 or more. Big 12 defense is not that great. OLE MISS and OREGON prove that point. Go Gators.

I agree USC is very good team. I think thet are second best team behind Florida. Beating Penn State out of the weak Big Ten does not impress me that much. Look at Big Ten record against top notch teams in recent years is what I base my opinion on.

Agree MONROE CO. had a poor 07 season. Big turn around in 08. Hope to see another Falcon vs Falcon semi state game in 09.

Utah proved that they are a top notch program. Agree with Pete Carroll until there is a playoff noone will know for sure. Myself think USC and Florida are two best teams. Just my opinion.

Congrats to Neil Wilson of Monroe Co. for making second team. Neil is a very fine young man and deserving of this honor. Also congrats to Josh Carter of Fort Campbell. Had the honor of seeing him play in state semi final game a real good football player and another fine young man. Good luck at Western and the rest of your life Josh.

Agree with 5 Wide. The 8 best teams no matter what conference they are in should compete for the championship in a playoff system. Best teams make for the best games.

Agree with Alabama Larry that Bama has as much tradition as ND. I am an old school guy but it seems to me ND is way behind top programs in college football. I do not miss ND at all maybe some people do. I think what you do in the last five year period defines your program. Just my opinion could be or could be right . Just think Iam right on this one.

Everyone has an opinion and a favorite team. USC is always loaded with good players and have an excellent coach. Florida also is usually loaded and they have an excellent coach. Like hearing everyones opinion. A lot of good opinions on this subject. Still think that Floida has better team speed this year. I think Florida will put a whipping on Oklahoma would rather see them playing USC as I think they are second best team. Like I say just my opinion bowl games will answer some of the questions. Still hoping for an eight or sixteen team playoff on day.

USC is not slow but nobody has the team speed of Florida. but like I said before wish there was a playoff system so fans of all the teams could see who was really the best team. I am a Florida fan so I think they are the best. But I also agree with some other posts that there maybe 8 teams that could be in the hunt with a playoff. Good luck to all the teams but I think the Gators will rule.

The Gators by 2 TDS. USC has good team but play in weak Pac10. Think the Gators are just too fast on both sides of the ball for USC to handle. Still would like to see a playoff which would settle all arguements.

Florida USC Cinny Bama Texas Gators are best team. Just wish there was a playoff. Texas got the shaft.

Notre Dame has not been a factor in big time football for the last ten years or so. If they want to be a factor again get in a conference like the big ten. Even though the big ten has not been strong for awhile they are still better than the teams that the Irish play year in and year out.The SEC and Big 12 have proven to be the best over the past few years. As far as I am concerned the Irish have along way to go to be a major player in college football.

As a big time Florida fan I am biased toward Tebow. No one really knows who will be a good pro QB. The main thing Tim has going for him is great work ethic and leadership. Am not a predictor of the future but i hope he does make a good pro QB.

Andrews of Fort Campbell was very impressive in both semi final and state final games. Neil Wilson of Monroe Co. was one of the best ends in class AA this year. Look for both these men to have big years in 09.

As a Monroe Co. fan am not a Glasgow fan. Glasgow had a good freshman and soph class this year. Feel bad about Coach Lindsey losing job but look for Glasgow to be back.

Congrats to Fort Campbell from a Monroe Co. fan. Not only a championship team but a CLASS ACT also.

Besides having 20 juniors back Monroe Co. also has a strong soph class led by Tanner Kendall. Look fo Monroe to be a factor come playoff time next year.
