I'm telling you what I was told. And the couple of kids that I talked to are VERY GOOD HITTERS. Jeramie Conner is a very good pitcher, and he brings the ball to the plate with a fast motion.

I totally support people who back their team no matter what, and believe me next week I will be there cheering on CovCath as they take on the bulldogs. But to honestly think that HC will beat Holmes by 30..or even 10..is kind of outlandish.

So dead on. The reason he is gone, is because of the holes he dug and couldn't get out of. He was his own worst enemy. There was not a witch hunt, and the parents and players did not decide 2 years ago that they were not going to give him a chance. He had his chance and he absolutely blew it. Brossart has ALOT to work on before he will be a successful coach for any program and best of luck to him.

You might have thought of thinking about that BEFORE you called out your teammates. Easy to do from the sideline. But I respect you deciding not to get into things, good luck with next year.

I am the sister of a senior from this years team. And for you to call him, or any of his teammates out for "giving up" is a sad sad thing young man. They did not give up. And in the process they had a man offering absolutely no support or motivation oncesoever. I am sorry to hear about your injury, and I wish you the best in the next 2 years, but I hope for your sake none of your teammates treat you the way you've just disrespected your former ones.

lol, I'm positive you would have changed your tune had it been your son or family member who was a senior the past two years and played under him. All of the graduated and graduating players that I know of [which is just about all of them, and those I dont know, are close with my family member] wanted him gone as well. This IS the best thing for the kids, and it's probably better that you don't have to find this out through experience. The kids are probably upset because they don't want change. Unfortunately change is sometimes for the better.

The problem wasn't that they were losing games. That is not why mud starting getting slung. And the "Park Hills Mafia" is not why he is gone either. It's just best for both parties.

I may have an awful memory, but I remember going to Holmes in 06/07 to watch the games. I don't remember it being at CovCath. hmm..

Good luck to Brossart in the future, wherever he ends up. I think this is best for the program and the players involved.

My brother played against Pittman last year and was very complimentary of him. They play again a week from tonight and I'm VERY interested to see how he handles it lol. He has told me multiple times how incredible Pittman is, and has vowed not to let him dunk on him. [i've told him that just isn't going to happen lol]. I'm not one to get very excited over high school players to be honest. I can be kind of critical, because I always see so much room for growth and areas to improve upon, and don't get me wrong, Pittman has plenty he can improve on. But he WOWED me when I saw him this year. I'm very impressed and this kid is something special. I really hope he can get his score on the ACT or whatever it is that people are concerned with up, because he is truly a high D1 talent and deserves to be there. It is a treat to watch the kid play ball.

I'm pretty depressed about the small gym, lol. I thought we got there early to Highlands, my dad will have us there at 3 lined up if he can.

Very nice. I've never seen Hood play but have only heard good things. Pittman is deserving of the number 1 ranking, without a doubt.

I pretty much agree with you on all points except the big guy Smith. I don't think they'll have much problem with him. All Beechwood does it try to lob it over the head, and he is awkward with his body under the basket from what I've seen. I doubt he will be much of a factor. The guard aspect I agree with. I'm going to go with CovCath though, because neither team really impresses me, so I'll just go with my heart on this one.
