Hi goldie, have'nt talked to you lately. Thought I'd say hi. Just spoke with Robert Hattons mom and she said it looks like about 14 days that he'll be out. She'll know more later. Said she hopes that it's only a sprain and nothing more serious.

This may be the time for Christian to come in a get some needed pt. I think he's capable if giving the opportunity. I hate what happened to Robert and I hope for a speedy recovery because were going to need him in a big way.

Well said d-dawg. For the most part the majority of these players are very talented. Saying this player is better than this player well there's no need for it. These kids come out and give there all and one may have a better game than the other on that giving night but that does'nt make that player any better than the rest. And besides and I'm for sure you'll agree with me on this one and that is that it's about the team not the individual. It takes a team to win no matter how good a certain player may be. That's the way I see it.:thumb:

They did'nt lose any starters from last years team. They also did'nt lose any bench players either. Beating a good Hazard team like our Cards did makes a statement. Proud and excited for our boys.Glad to see Christian playing more. :ylsuper:

I do know that Ferguson had 34 and hit 10 tre's. Awsome to watch. You know your doing something right when the other teams fans are clapping for what you did on the floor. Much respect to the Elliot Lions.

Yea me to. I think Brewer and Daniels work very well together. I don't look for Brewer to play much if any because his back has a strained muscle. He could have got some quality PT in this game but will have to wait and see.

I watched Paris play Lee Co. and Lee beat them pretty easy. I look for my CARDS to win big. Like said before I look for the bench to get some playing time under their belt I hope .:ylsuper:

Well said. You forgot to mention the pressure that i'm sure he faces and let's not forget that he's only a 15 year old. These fans from other schools that harass him only wish that they had a Vinny Zollo on their team but they don't so that's why they act the way they do. JEALOUS, INVIOUS are some words that sum it up. Any coach would be proud to have Vinny on his squad. One of the best attitudes I've ever been around. Great kid and I wish him the best. On an other note I'd like to see Coach Humpfrey play Christian more. He shoots well from the outside and hits his free throws on a regular basis. Both are somethings we could have used last night. He handles the ball well and does'nt make alot of mistakes. We all know he can play but just not seeing it.

I totally agree with you about Zollo having to adjust and so does Brewer. They both have came from programs were they were the go to guy and knew the system well. Now kids like Brewer are having to relearn a system and their playing time has been cut from what their used to. Big adjustment in the humbling department. In the long run though it will pay off because of better coaching and better opportunity. Brewer played real well in the JV game. Seemed to be in command on the floor. Shoot the ball extremely well by knocking down four three's and hitting his free throws. Coach Humpfrey is doing the right thing with him I beleive. Playing JV right now is giving him playing time to adjust to the new system and his new teammates.

The games before this one they had players to foul out but for some reason that did'nt go for this game. The big kid that dunked on stenzil had five fouls and the scores table personnal said that players are not fouling out of this game. So go figure!:confused:

He did'nt dunk on Vinny. He dunked on Stenzil. It should have been a charging call but I guess the ref did'nt want to mess up a good thing right!

I was there and everyone got off the bench which I think is great. Cudos to coach Humpfrey. Daniels played ok just seemed a little out of control at times. Rogers did real well. He battled the refs more than anything else. He could'nt breathe on anyone without the refs calling him on it. Williams was just very rusty. He had alot of turnovers which can be expected with only a few days of practice. Still quicker than lighting. Zollo did well I just don't think they got him the ball enough down low as well as not getting the ball to Rogers enough down low. Zollo had a great dunk off of a Brewer still for the breakaway dunk. Brewer did well. He was the only one to pick the pocket of Evan Faulkner at the point for a layup. He hit a few jump shoots with very limited play. Over all the team looked unprepared. A little out of synch but not using that as an excuse. Just looked that way. They came to within 5 points in the 2nd half but got no closer. It want be long before these guys will be a very well oiled machine. To talented not to be.

I'm not for sure d-dawg. I was informed of this Saturday. Don't think it's serious though. Should be ok come game time.:thumb:
