Clark County would have had one of the top teams in the 10th Region this season even before the Cardinals had a newcomer transfer into the program.

 

Now, with Kentucky commitment Vinny Zollo (photo) coming from Ohio the Cardinals are not only tops in the region but one of the main contenders for the state title.

 

Zollo is a sophomore and ranks as one of the top players statewide in the Class of 2011, along with his new teammate Robbie Stenzel.

 

Coach Scott Humphrey has plenty of other talented players that should make the Cardinals a must-see team for any Kentucky high school basketball fan.

I didn't think I missed GRC. Then I noticed that it was just posted minutes ago on the blog.

 

A lot of folks are talking about GRC and I can see why. Zollo may complete the puzzle for them and it will be exciting to see how well they do against a very good schedule.

As stated in the article....we already had a good team coming back. With the addition of Vinny and Christian Brewer, we will be able to go 9 deep easy. We do have a very competitive schedule. The last two games are road games against Franklin Co. and Ballard,...can't wait till basketball season starts.:thumb:

10th Region is going to be fun, fun, fun to watch this year! Some of the usual "back of the pack" teams will be much improved and the top tier of teams will be closely matched.

Personally I think the 10th regional championship this year will find Scott and GRC in the finals presuming they don't find each other in the tournament before that.

They play at Russel Nov. 30th at 9:00

Will Williams and Rogers be out of football by then? They play an important part of that team.

It is at Russell last game of the pan-a-roma...around 9:00 Believe it is Nov 25th.

Depends how we do in the playoffs. Even if they are back....they won't be "Basketball Ready" Till they practice for a few weeks or a month.

 

I agree that Cory and Ryan play a very important part as both are starters. I see Travis and Christian playing alot. I also see several combinations,. as this is a scrimmage and the coaching staff will want to see what combinations do best against the type of team and style that Elliott Co plays.

Unless the date has been changed, the scrimmage is on the 25th. This panaroma is always held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

I believe that is correct.

Robert Hatton senior guard for Clark should not be overlooked,he is the best

3 point shooter on this years team.
