Sloppy first half for the Cards. Partick Baily came off the bench and did an outstanding job on defense and over all great hustle. Way to go Patrick. Robbie Stenzel had 29, Cory Rogers 21 and Vinny 15. Also great hustle by Ryan Willims...he just makes everyone else better. Overall I was pleased how we played in the second half. We have some work to do, but by tourney time will be in great shape.

 

#21 for North Laurel is a nice player, they depend on him alot.

Robbie was on fire tonight. Vinny didn't shoot much but still had 15. He had some great passes and rebounds tonight too. Cory Rogers went to work inside the second half and ended up with 21. After the game someone told him how many points he had...he had no clue...just said , "Hey we won" Love his attitude.

Scary thing is those kids are only sophomores. They're only going to get better as the season progresses.

That's Josh Seidel. A senior who averaged 23 ppg, 7 rpg, and hit 47% from behind the 3 point line last year. Wonderful kid. 6'5" guard. He was their biggest offensive weapon the past 2 seasons and this year will be no different.

Loved watching him play. Our coach put 5'9 Bailey to guard him in the second half and he did a great job...but boy the height difference was a strange thing to watch.

Josh is a terrific kid. His father is a pastor in London, they just moved here a few years ago. Found a short video of some his highlights from last year. I know he is already getting looks from various colleges. He can flat out shoot the rock.

We are a young team starting 4 Sophomores tonight. We will take some lumps this year...but come tourney time will be the team in the 10th to beat.

Its going to be a fun fun year in the 10th this year. Anybody on any given night. I think its a four way race to the finish line this year with GRC, Mason, Scott, and Campbell. Whoever is healthy and playing the best will win this region. We all know we dont want to play a team coached by Brad Carr in March just ask Golden.:thumb:
