You're correct, my point was that Griffey hasn't beefed up like the others. I see absolutely no reason to believe he's done steroids. He's just a small, athletic guy with one of the smoothest swings I've ever seen in baseball. Always has been my favorite player and probably always will be.

Who all's got them this week? Easily the worst week of the year... Seems like this happens to me every semester, but my two most difficult finals are back to back Monday morning at 8AM. I can't wait to get this over with.

Maybe they did and his decision was UK, but it changed at the last second. That would explain the look of surprise on his mom's face at the announcement. It kind of plays into the rumors regarding him telling Coach Cal he'd be coming to UK a few days earlier. I think he and his family were all ready to announce UK. The pressure of being surrounded by his friends and having so much time to think about his decision allowed for a momentary lapse in judgement and he let his emotions get the best of him. JMO though.

I do.. He really does seem like a genuinely good guy, and he's got to be going through a lot right now.. I really hope the UK fanbase isn't sending hate messages to make it worse for him. I just want him to do what's best for him, and if that means staying close to home and playing with his lifelong best friend then so be it. He'd have a little more respect from me for that choice actually... Some things are more important than basketball, nationally televised games, draft stock, etc. It's nice to see younger guys with so much potential realize that. Don't get me wrong, I really want him here at UK. I just won't be heartbroken if he sticks with his choice to go to UW.

Well... Not happy about it, but I respect him a lot for being able to turn down UK to stick with his bro.. Wish him nothing but the best at UW.
