Those are good excuses, Bellevue did the same this year as last. They bullied the big Beechwood team and knocked their players(all the starters) around all first half and moved the ball on offense, just have zero passing attack so it was easy for Beech to bring it to Bellevue's back. t=Then the bigger Beech finally wore them out, and took over. Yes, Beechwood is a good team, but can be beaten by a Raceland, LCA, Bellevue etc...

Injury in warmups?!?! How much bad luck can you get.. Who was the players injured?

Which one is that? I know one graduated a few years ago, then the one that has been there recently, and also there is a younger one just getting there..

Llyod is much better than most expect.. The back up they had playing could most likely start anywhere in class A, and also on a lot of 2A schools... Hopefully that starter recovers to finish his sports for high school.

Running Clock.. wasn't too hard. If Bellevue comes out and plays "soft", yes you will all be right, but if they actually think they can win, it will be closer. These are the same predictions they were given last year when it ended up closer than expected, and in 05-06 when Bellevue BEAT Beechwood 26-21 :ylsuper: B-wood fan was right. You are completely right, it wasn't luck it was a failure to make a play by somone the Tigers normally rely on in the passing, but it was a drop, not the play made by the db. Also it was dropped on the 3 with momentum most likely carrying him in.. Not trying to belittle Lloyd, but that was a mistake for the Tigers...

Lloyd is a very tough and physical team this year.. NCC never has been, and on top of that Lloyd keep up with a very, very strong Beechwood team. They might not win, but this will be very close...

During the game Friday he injured it in the first half, you could see him favoring it a bit, then he had a sleeve or brace in the second half. That was my guess why he received less carries as it went on... I spoke with a coach yesterday at their practice and I think it was a strain on both his ACL and miniscus maybe? not real sure..

Barret is most likely out for the game, the kids next door are saying they are trying the best to attempt to fill his spot, but they believe he might be able to dress, not sure on that? Kytiger89, not sure why, but as a Bellevue fan you always seem to be riping the young quarterback? He is doing something right obviously because he is managing a 6-1 football team.. And for your information his TD/INT ratio 5/4.. Wills you are doing fine, but definitly need to become much better to take your team anywhere in the play-offs... I agree with you in I don't think Eminence is that strong of a team, just an opinion from last year and what I hear, but you can't go off records teams play because of the different rivalrys teams have to play, or maybe all the teams they play have tough schedule. I have just never been a fan of SOS becuase it really doesn't matter who you play until district games, and of course play-offs. Then if you really are weak it will show...

Not assuming, but guessing by the way you put things, must not of been the biggest athlete in highschool? Really I'm not sure, but by combining these two you create a new huge rivalry with I think NCC.. I know that if my teams had the chance to beat them it would be a huge highlight, not sure how Dayton kids feel about them, but in Bellevue lets just say we feel about them, well the way everyone feels about slow service :lol:
