What does your school do to honor Seniors at their final home game?

Wow, where are you from haha.. Back when I went to Bellevue it was Balloons and I think some candy lol...

How many players did your school have in order to drive them all to school in a limo? That'd have to be some stretched limo to fit a whole football team, coaches, and don't forget the cheerleaders.

At Trinity,

 

Prior to the game, the parents/guardians are escorted by their Senior children(players, managers, cheerleaders) to midfield. The mothers receive a flower. The fathers get to wear the road jersey (if they fit). A photo is taken. A frame is presented to the families. In some cases, the divorced parents will have their child and new spouse pose for a separate photo.

 

Trinity does not announce the GPA or future plans of the student.

I have always felt that is over the top.

15 Seniors, cheerleaders have their own celebration.:thumb:

Boy do I miss that night. Stupid concussion took me out for the second half of my senior night:cry:

Last year a senior from Conner was ejected by a bad call from a ref in the first series... The defensive tackle was performing a "rip" move and they said he punched a Holmes player in the face, TWICE.

Although he also had a senior fire and of course senior hit:fire: This was all done the night before though.

Well Coach Eckstein has this tradition of having a senior fire the night before the senior night. There is a fire that takes place on the field and all the seniors throw something of memory into the fire that way the ashes will stay on the field forever. It's a really good tradition.

 

Senior hit is where the seniors get to pick an underclassmen and line up 5 yards away from them and hit them onto tackling dummys.

Way back in the day, we had a bonfire on the practice FB field. But in the words of Rodney Dangerfield, when I went to school they didn't have history.

 

At Mason County, the senior players, cheerleaders and band members are escorted by their parents onto the field, where they and their parents are presented with gifts. Future plans are announced as well.
