At Trinity,

 

Prior to the game, the parents/guardians are escorted by their Senior children(players, managers, cheerleaders) to midfield. The mothers receive a flower. The fathers get to wear the road jersey (if they fit). A photo is taken. A frame is presented to the families. In some cases, the divorced parents will have their child and new spouse pose for a separate photo.

 

Trinity does not announce the GPA or future plans of the student.

I have always felt that is over the top.

Belfry brings the parents of EVERY player, cheerleader, stat person, etc to the field (underclassmen) and introduce them. When the Seniors have their turn they bust through hoops that the cheerleaders make for each player and present their family with a flower. When Belfry played at Vipperman Stadium the hoops were very elaborate with glitter, balloons, and shiny paper..now that they play on a turf field the hoops are not made of such material to prevent it getting stuck in the rubber.
