  1. Congrats John Hardin. They got a third of the students from North and a third from Central. Central Hardin and North Hardin dropped in enrollment by about 800 or so each.
  2. Congrats Buckett from all your friends up here in Northern Hardin County.
  3. Henderson scores on 1st down after getting ball back. Henderson 35-21
  4. Central turns it over on downs inside Henderson territory with 2:47 left in the game leading 28-21
  5. Central Hardin 7 Henderson 7, Henderson just ran back an INT for TD
  6. Central Hardin 7 Henderson County 0 10:00 left in 1st quarter
  7. What has this change taking place? Who will take his place? Rough decision this late in the year
  8. It wasn't a punt return late. It was a 50 yard run by Jackson.Mercer never trailed in the game.Mercer never trailed in a game that whole year until the state finals.
  9. Purple, I agree with you 100%. Jaggers said it was the best team he ever coached and he had some good ones.Purple how did Mercer beat Harrodsburg in 2005 when Harrodsburg had Ford and Jackson. Mercer had lost to them the year before and they had probably one of their best players ever in the McCloud kid that went to WKU.I also wondered if you played for coach Haley at BG.
  10. Mercer County won their 5A district last year and went undefeated in only their 2nd year in 5A. I believe they can win it again this year. They have as much talent as anyone in their distict.
  11. Mercer has a 1500 less boys than the big 3 and 75 more than Russell. Cov Cath is an all boys school that has no district boundaries. Put an asterisk next to their State Titles since you think Mercer should have one. Why didn't Harlan County win a state title last year after their rmerger since they had alot more than the class they played in? Henderson County has 2200 students why haven't they won a state title?
  12. Guys, I hate to break it to you but EasyPro is a John Hardin guy, he is the same guy thats on the other site talking. John Hardin is a very talented team and well coached. North just hopes to keep it close
  13. Your correct about Danville and Mercer playing.Harp will play Mercer for sure now. He and Jaggers are best friends.
  14. Congrats Coach Walker, great coach and even a better man.
  15. St. X played North Hardin in the first game and won by 10 according to the final score sheets
  16. Be careful what you wish for. Even with the record the past two years he doubled the playoff wins in school history before his arrival. I just cant believe a program that hadnt won a playoff game since 1988 before Jaggers arrival isnt naming him mayor much less trying to run him out of town. Nice program.
  17. I would be excited to get rid of the coach that has won all but one of the schools entire playoff games in their history. I hope he does leave so Mercer can go back to the powerhouse they was before his arrival. You all remember the one where 5-5 was a successful year. Go Titans:laugh::thumb:
  18. I agree. I wouldn't be shocked if they make it to Louisville. I honestly don't think this game will be close if Marion can make any stops against Fairdale. I don't look for Fairdale to even slow down Marion's rushing attack, much less completely stop it.
  19. I'm not one who discusses personal and family matters about anybody on here, let alone a couple people who I know very well. But, I want to clear up something in regards Jaggers' son, Josh. Josh felt it was best to move on and kind of 'fly on his own' if you will? In fact, Josh didn't leave because he wanted to "quit" coaching with his father. A great teaching/coaching opportunity in Josh's original home community, LaRue County, came open and a chance for Josh to learn under another very good coach in LaRue's Rodney Armes. So, Josh didn't just decide to up and "coaching" with his dad for the reason(s) that it seems like you are insinuating in your last post. Did it ever register in your mind that Marty also once coached at LaRue as an assistant, and that Josh has other family that either still lives in LaRue or is from the area? I just had to clear that up for you and that's all I will speak of. I don't think you would want people talking family matters about you and yours, so take the liberty to not discuss someone elses. Take the higher road, not just with this matter, but any on here in disussing topics of young men on the field, coaches and their family matter(s) behind an anonymous name. Have yourself a good evening.
