Brossart came back after a week without volleyball and won their match aganist Lloyd. Great job! I just want to say that I am extremely disappointed in the parents at Lloyd. They were taunting the Brossart players. I understanding cheering and I even understand a little bit of taunting from fellow students. However, when the parents are making comments over and over again so that the girls can hear them - like "all they do is hit short" or "they only have one hitter" or "come on Lloyd you are better than they are" - its very childish and hurtful to these kids who work so hard all season. Competition is healthy don't get me wrong, but it is very unsportsmanlike when adults start being cruel to players. This in no way reflects their coach. I have know DC for a long time and he is a fantastic guy/coach. I have never had this happen any other time that I have been in Lloyds gym. I just wanted to get it off my chest.

Do HHS and NCC play tonight?

We had around 70 kids out yesterday, 63 with flu like symptoms. I know of two H1N1 cases on the volleyball team. Games are cancelled for the rest of the week. Lets keep these kids in our prayers for a quick and healthy recovery.

Good Job BBHS for taking NCC to three games. I guess maybe the adrenalin was still flowing from this past weekends All "A" games? Congratulations to NCC for thier victory. And I agree Taylor Snyder is a class "A" act all the way around.

Congrats to Campbell County! It shows the girls that they can compete with these top NKY teams.

The first two games were very exciting and very close, regardless of who was out sick. The Lady 'Stangs gave all they could. Taylor Snyder is unreal good!! She served 11 straight points in the 3rd game that BBHS just couldn't defend. IMO she is the best setter all around in NKY. I can't wait to see her play as a Senior. Great job Mustangs! Great job Breds! And thank you to everyone who came out to support a great cause.
