gold sunrise Posted October 14, 2009 Author Posted October 14, 2009 Clark (18-8) took the first game 25-19 and then posted a 25-13 victory in the second set to complete the sweep. gold sunrise Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Here is the rest of the field for the 10th Region Tournament: Harrison Co. Deming Bishop Brossart Campbell Co. Highlands Newport Central Catholic Thanks. I know very little about Volleyball. Is it like b-ball and the teams from the same district have to be in opposite brackets?
EQUUS GREVYI Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 That is correct. District winners will draw a district runner-up and teams from the same district will go to opposite sides of the bracket. So GRC and Montgomery County could not play each other until the regional final.

Big Slick Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Congratulations on your first District Championship! Will they be one of the favorites to win the region and make their first trip to state? I would guess that one of northern Kentucky schools in this region would be considered the favorites.
Dlbdonn Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Newport Central Catholic defeated Highlands last night at Bellevue . 25 - 20 , 25 - 15 , to win the 35th District Championship .
bredwinner Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I would guess that one of northern Kentucky schools in this region would be considered the favorites. I would think that either Campbell Co. or Newport Central Catholic should be the favorites to win the 10th. They played eachother twice, each winning once. But, with the way the flu is hitting here in Northern Ky, you never know what can happen.:idunno:
