  1. Funny, I don't remember seeing that invite to the birthday party yet.
  2. Here are the results for this week's Northern Kentucky Area Regional Contest. As always, the results won't be final for 24 hours. All contestants should use that time to check their score for errors. After that time period has passed, the contest is final and the winner should use the following link to claim the prize of choice. If you think your score is incorrect, please send me a PM and I will look into your claim. Results of the games in this week's contest: Bellevue 28, Bishop Brossart 20 Beechwood 28, Somerset 0 Scott County 28, Highlands 7 Campbell County 24, Newport Central Catholic 0 Henry County 14, Grant County 0 FYI --I am waiting on clarity on one item before scores are finalized so stay tuned and I will post them below. Also sorry for the delay in posting results.
  3. Possibly valid, but neither has Boyle either so.......and I think Catholic beats Boyle if they played tonight.
  4. Nope, that is part of the conundrum of the situation at current.
  5. Like I posted above, right now, I think you could make a case for any of the 4 teams I listed, or the case, that all 4 are at current.

  7. If they are the best team in the state, they should be able to beat an Ohio team that more than likely wont make the playoffs this year.
  8. I said last week we would have an 0-3 team ranked #1 in the state. There are several things with that. 1. Because Trinity has played out of state teams, we have no direct comparison of KY teams to use, so its a big guess at this point. 2. Male, Scott Co, and Douglas, have all done what they should, but against average opponents, so are they better than Trinity? Maybe, maybe not, again, a big guess. 3. St. X just lost to a team that South Warren is going to win by 2-3 or more scores against. St. X is the normal comparison if Trinity is really good or not, but this year you cant do that. 4. Lets look at Trinity's losses. Two Indiana teams that are potentially deep playoff teams in close games. However Trinity loss to Moeller, a team that may not make the Ohio playoffs this year (granted a weather shortened game). So is Trinity the best team in KY, who knows. Should an 0-3 team be #1? IMO, you have 4 #1 teams right now, and we have to wait a week for this to be settled some.
  9. BluegrassPreps.com is giving you a chance to show off your football knowledge statewide! The BluegrassPreps Regional Contests give you chances to pick games in different parts of the state for prizes each week of the regular season. There will be five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- NKY, EKY, Lexington/Central KY, Louisville, and WKY. Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1. The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with. The second tiebreaker is time. This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish. At the end of the regular season, the top two finishers in each region will compete during the playoffs for statewide bragging rights on Bluegrasspreps. If a contestant qualifies in more than one region, then the highest point total statewide from a non-qualifying contestant will advance as a Wild Card. The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will receive a quality prize. The deadline for all entries is 5:00pm EST Friday. (September 7th, 2018) Be sure to post your winners and assign each of them one of the following point values (7-5-3-2-1) based on how strongly you feel that that team will win. (Please note that if your selections are NOT in the specified format, your ENTIRE set of picks will be voided.) 7 5 3 2 1 1st Tiebreaker 2nd Tiebreaker: Time of post. The games this week for the Northern Kentucky Area Regional contest are: Beechwood vs Corbin Cooper vs Campbell County Scott vs Conner Newport Central Catholic vs Belfry Highlands vs Ryle Be sure to pick ONE winner for each game and to indicate the point value! Remember, all entries must be posted by 5:00pm EST on Friday, September 7th. GOOD LUCK!
  10. Ridder knows what color UC is tonight right?
  11. Hopefully a big payday for UofL, they need it with the pizza money gone now.
  12. I thought somebody for UK got ejected in the middle of the 4th quarter?
  13. So no need to change the channel. Got it.
  14. How many players were ejected for targeting? I thought I counted 4. 2 from each team.
  15. Ridder is not doing so hot throwing the ball forward.
  16. 6 guys on defense just watched that kid run by him. 2 of the DB were not even looking for the play. Yep they are prepared.
  17. Who do you guys want SK to play? They are playing all the 6A NKY Schools, they played Bryan Station another 6A School. Who else you want them to play.
  18. If this is the best prepared UC can be, I don't think this coach is the answer either.
