Bad technology day just running errands this afternoon.

 

New ATM at credit union. Has a check scanner for deposits. But also had a slot under the slot - a gap between the check eater mechanism and the frame of the ATM. ATM guy retrieved the check before they closed. They will be working on a fix to the 'slot under the slot'.

 

At Petsmart they have apparently have a new system for their membership/rewards program and it wants all the information update and verified. The poor lady running the 'register/computer' was flustered and what should have been a quick run and out took over 20 minutes.

 

Field testing must be a lost art with all with the technology that surrounds us.
