The teams thst sre remaning(Shelby and Anderson) have not pitched their ace yet. I think that Carroll did today. It was a exciting game and both pitchers did a fine job. In the Anderson vs N.Oldham game if the first baseman and 3rd baseman don't make errors then maybe North wins that one. Also a great game. The pitcher for North is a good kid and clocked him in the high 80's.

The Sterrett kid is goood!!!! When he is on the mound that is a win. Hope he pitches Monday and we get no rain. Hope it don't rain there should be some good games at the complex. Just found out that the fastpitch softball is also going to Monday 10,12,2,and4. It will be a great day to be at the complex!!!!

I don't think so. But if you come and watch the game you will also get to watch some softball as they are also hosting the fastpitch softball region at the complex.

I don't know the dimensions but we played over there and a kid hit a ball and even had a 25 mph behind it and still fell short of the fence. Everybody in the stands thought it was gone. It does play big.

The Region tournament should be a good one. Who do you think will make it?

Corey was nasty all night long. He has turned into a big game pitcher when you need one. Dunbar hit the ball hard but Shelby's defense was perfect all night long.

That is a 1-6-3-2 triple play. if the pitcher starts it then shortstop on to first then home.

Sounds like the kid needs to be in the running for MR. Baseball in Kentucky. That is being a very productive baseball player.

Cory Williams of Shelby pitched a great game only giving up maybe 3 or 4 hits. The defense for Shelby was awsome.

I have not seen the Maile kid but keep up with what is put on here. Sounds like to me that Maile has alot of talent around him that can hit. So he gets a lot of help. Clarkson has maybe one good hitter around him so everybody tries to pitch around him some and he may only get one really good pitch in each at bat. That is very impressive to be so young. Also heard at a gome on Saturday that his batting average is around .575 with an on base being around .750. I am sure that both kids are really good that's why both are going to D1 schools and have plenty of scout's after them.

Yes he is. He also has 3 or 4 major league teams really interested in him.

With only a week left in the season this could be an interesting tournament time. Hope everybody has the ace in shape and hitters ready.

If you know the young man then you should not say anything like that. It is Shelby County and they are one of the best offensive teams in the state at this point. With Jared being such a good hitter has given everybody around him better pitches to hit.

Jared Clarkson has been a leader of the Rockets offense. I think the kid has had a least one hit in every game this year. Has also helped the kids playing with him get better. So watch out for them to make a long run in the state.
