  1. Couldn't have said any of that better myself buddy. :thumb: But I mean really what else do you expect but excuses?
  2. VERY true, although it worked last night, I highly doubt Manillo and Slusher for Beechwood are going to let this happen, we have to throw the ball. And must convert in the redzone. This game could very easily been 40 or 50 to 12
  3. Through the ball well at times, showed his youth but honestly for a first time starter really showed promise. He throw the ball up a few times and HC made plays on it.
  4. Lets hear from them, cause you know they would be all over it if they won. By the way it was a heated jv game today but HC prevailed pretty easily 21-12.
  5. Hc came out and as the team motto says "laid the wood" tonight, they came out and punched Lloyd in the mouth from the first through last play. Lhe HC DB's stepped up to the challenge and kept Herthel and Walker in check. Hc lined up on O and basically said here ya go, our entire offense is going to hit you in the mouth and Roenker is going to carry you, and they did. Hats off the all blockers for HC. No anwser for HC on O or D for Lloyd. But we must keep it going and throw the ball more efficiently to compete with our remaining oppenents.
  6. Thats what I have been trying to figure out?
  7. :ylsuper: :thumb: Lets hear from some Lloyd fans, is it seen as a big game over there or possibly a rivalry?
  8. Maybe earlier? But that definatly ignited it! :thumb:
  9. But they get to choose their 15-17 out of say...100 or more players. 1 and 2-A schools only get maybe 40 to 50 in a big year.
  10. TRUE TRUE TRUE. But I can't go with out saying that if your arguement says you looked good aganist the local JV team(Dayton) then sure you played great. HC beat Cooper by 55 and Cooper has a win this year...that means absolutely nothing. I also will not believe it until I see it about the Llyod QB being out. I am siked for this game the Juggs are going to need their A game, as will HC to pull off pretty much each teams biggest regular season game. AM I starting to feel a nice little rivalry forming between these teams? :thumb:
  11. If HC has to run they will run, if we have to pass we will pass. One way another the leaders of this team realize the importance of the game and HC is going to come into Lloyd's staduium ready to lay the wood. Neither record indicates the talent either team has. Hc knows how good Lloyd can be on Offense, and is weary of there D. But HC is ready to have a huge day after two disappointing losses to NewCath and Ryle. This is going to be a great game to be at.
  12. :thumb: Somebody other than myself and a few other HC fans is finally seeing the light.
  13. Why? Because it's not working, the only pass MarKel completed all night was a dump off to Roenker 3 feet from him. Markel was a man while running putting up 20 carries for 161, but 1 for 15 passing. Andy's arm is much more accurate, just as strong, and he has a better grasp on what needs to be done when dropping back in the pocket. If we continue to run up the middle with Andy, and the very tight to the line option with Markel, teams(as some have already) are literally going to put 8 and 9 men in the box on every play.
  14. I mean theres a good chance Elder could pitch a shutout and put up 50.....with there JV.
  15. Very true those were some good teams.:thumb: However I was meaning last and this year. Honestly I have no clue, I just agree that it's alot of airtime for an average team.
  16. And it's one thing to get newwork games and lose, it's another to get beat the way they did in the first game, and then lose this one without much of a fight. I mean just like you said CCH hasn't had a good last couple years it makes no sense to me.
  17. Keep in mind also MLB Brad Herad (who lead NKY in tackles last year) will be back this weak.
  18. HC will be fine, Ryle is not the force they once were. Although it doesn't show in the score, if HC comes out like they did vs Newcath, watch out.
  19. I still don't feel HC played up to potential, obviously. I hope they have a hard week of practice and are just as fired up for Ryle as they were today. They half to keep making strides to turn this season around. Which they can do.
  20. To sum it all up, Highlands is a great team and all played extremely well.
  21. Good game, Hc just needed a few more breaks to go their way and some key penalties really hurt them. Rob Kues is a good player I mean he took a beating today for those who were their.
  22. I am not saying you are wrong because you would know more about it than me, but that just sounds a little off. There has to be more to it.
  23. You left out West's five dropped balls and countless routes cut short due to reasons....well, let's leave it at that. The other recievers didn't start last year due to bith being Sophs and Walker the current QB started out wide last year.
  24. As you know he broke his foot in the first week, but it's not healed yet, he has tried to run and make cuts but it's just to early for a comeback. He is the heart and soul of the D and is being missed, he has a lot of heart and will be back next week hopefully.
