  1. Let's be realistic here. Buckler is a fine RB but he is playing the likes of Dayton(not bashing) while Josh Conner and Co. are playing nationally ranked teams and putting up the same stats. There is no way you can convince me that Buckler could have just as much productivity at Highlands, Sk, or any of the bigger schools. He doesn't have the size, strength, or explosiveness to compete on the level on the Josh Conner's of the world. Buckler is a pretty good back who runs as hard as anyone and gives 110%, but bottomline isn't in the same category as these guys. :thumb:
  2. I noticed during the game that Walker took a snap or two and kinda ran the Tebow, is that an actual option or was Coach Lucas looking for a spark?
  3. First, there was no bashing of players, you are overreacting. I said they are above average players? How is that bashing? Also, how can I check stats that weren't turned in, I think it is you my friend who needs to check your facts, welcome to BGP by the way. :thumb:
  4. So your saying they both, mind you that Chappie is averaging under 4.5 yards a carry, would see time? All three running backs for HC (Roenker, Smith, Cooper) average more than that. And they(Lloyd's backs) were not holding on to the ball well....so time in every backfield? I think not.
  5. Tony Romo didn't play that bad? His line however played horribly. Best game I have watched all year though. :thumb:
  6. If HC can contain Tiepel and keep Beechwoods passing game under control, they have a chance. But for them to pull out a victory, they must be able to throw the ball. That is a HUGE if.
  7. Thats what I was thinking. The backup QB for Lloyd throws the ball well enough at times to make teams cover the recievers, and Walker and Chappie are just above average running backsand can get the job done. I think we will see a very good game and Lloyd come out on top 24-21.
  8. Very true and point taken, because the Indians haven't shown they can hold on to the ball aganist a really good team. I just get ahead of myself sometimes. But rest assure that the Indians we be confident, but aware of how potent this Beechwood team can be and most likely will be. The rivalry part of me gets the best of me to much. :thumb:
  9. I hope they are drills that emphasize holding on to the ball and not throwing picks. :thumb::walk:
  10. Couldn't have said any of that better myself buddy. :thumb: But I mean really what else do you expect but excuses?
  11. VERY true, although it worked last night, I highly doubt Manillo and Slusher for Beechwood are going to let this happen, we have to throw the ball. And must convert in the redzone. This game could very easily been 40 or 50 to 12
  12. Through the ball well at times, showed his youth but honestly for a first time starter really showed promise. He throw the ball up a few times and HC made plays on it.
  13. Lets hear from them, cause you know they would be all over it if they won. By the way it was a heated jv game today but HC prevailed pretty easily 21-12.
  14. Hc came out and as the team motto says "laid the wood" tonight, they came out and punched Lloyd in the mouth from the first through last play. Lhe HC DB's stepped up to the challenge and kept Herthel and Walker in check. Hc lined up on O and basically said here ya go, our entire offense is going to hit you in the mouth and Roenker is going to carry you, and they did. Hats off the all blockers for HC. No anwser for HC on O or D for Lloyd. But we must keep it going and throw the ball more efficiently to compete with our remaining oppenents.
  15. I completely forgot that is top 3 maybe my favorite.
  16. If the Irish can contain Tate and not let him take this game over, I think the ND O is good enough. 24-21 Irish.
  17. I just lose it when Cartman eats all the treasure and is weighing them down, it's just great tv. :ylsuper:
  18. That might be higher on the list . Thats funny stuff.
  19. Which are your favorites? 1. Ginger episode 2. Man Bear Pig(Al Gore) 3. When the kids are on the Baseball team and want to lose, stan's dad fights the other fans. 4. Any time when Timmy and Jimmy fight. I am sure I am leaving out some greats I just can't think.
  20. South Park is great! Probaly the pure funniest show on TV. :thumb: I think I need to open up a "greastest South Park Episodes" thread right now ha.
  21. :ylsuper: :thumb: Lets hear from some Lloyd fans, is it seen as a big game over there or possibly a rivalry?
  22. Maybe earlier? But that definatly ignited it! :thumb:
