  1. My DD played for 3 1/2 yrs on Ashland & Hunington area teams. She pitchs and plays the infield. She is takieing a break this summer, consentrating on getting stronger and B Ball. She played high school ball this spring she would be playing 14u but could play this summer at 12u due to her BD.
  2. I watched them tonight they both seem to have the girls attention. And the team didn't look to bad either. For haveing a new coaching staff.
  3. Ive watched alot of the's games and that will be interesting to see. There are some teams that might suprise some people.
  4. I wasn't there, so I don't have any details. Great season Lady Lions! Have a great summer.
  5. Yes Garvin went all seven. They play Russell at 7:30 tonight at Rowan could be interesting they split during the regular season.
  6. Ugly game but one more win for the Lady Lions. They have a 20 win season compared to a 7 win season last year great turn around Ladys.
  7. Great win for the Ashland but the word dominance might be alittle strong. Time will tell. :fight:
  8. First round softball in Ashland will be played tomarrow same times. Stupid weather is it the third week of May or Oct. cant tell anymore.
  9. Well another one in the books as far as Jv is concerned. Lady Lions Jv went 20-7 over all counting the trip to florida. And they went 15-3 if you just count games here at the house. Great year the future is bright for Boyd Co softball. This team was made up of 4 - sixth graders / 4 - seventh / 4 - eight / 2- freshmen / 1- sophmore. Very young but very good. Good luck in the years to come. :ylsuper:
  10. Ok when my DD first started playing JV I was told, or I herd once you became a junior and played on the varsity you could not go back. Well everything that I've been able to find out thats not true. Or at least thats what I understand. Last time I looked at the khssa web sight all I could find that even come close to talking about this subject was dealing with eligibility rules start at 9 th grade but thats dealing with changeing schools and such. But there is a another can a worms that could be opened on this subject. But im not going to open them.:lol::lol:
  11. Are they going to have a party when this gets done. Hope the Ladys get someone that is good for them and there program. :dancingpa
  12. Very Funny Boyd Co. Lady Lions
  13. No dog in this fight but dont you think it would be a good idea to get this hire done. There is just 2 weeks of school left dont you think the young ladys would like to know who there coach is for next year. Sence middle school ball starts so early in the new school year. In my oppion haveing a head coach in place or not haveing one effects the future of the program.
  14. Congrrats Ms. Vanhoose, I have a ? did she get signed as a pitcher or a utility player or something else. Thanks
  15. Just what robinsons bit in the paper said . It all depends on what team shows up in the dist & regional could be very interesting :creepy:
  16. The paper made it sound like they were both varsity games.
  17. Great win for The lady Lions hope they show up like they did tonight next week in the dist.
  18. Hammond Good looking pitcher 7 th grader I think.
  19. I agree great win Rams when Boyd played them earlier in the day they beat them selves.
  20. From what I've seen of her she is a great team player too. She isn't all about her.
  21. In will agree with that in some ways but that score doesnt speak to much of the game. Boyds second pitcher had a bad night and that will happen from time to time. This team has a bright future.
  22. Way to battle back Ladys.
  23. I had to leave earlly my DD had a pitching lesson. But a good freind said it was a shot. In the trees when it went out sounded like someone broke a two by four over some ones head. She is a great catcher to.
