You have got to do what you and child think is best for her .It doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. I think it will be a great move for her she will be a great pick up for ashland. I hope everything works out for her , Shes a great kid. Good luck

Guess what we can go back forth with this till were blue in the face. What it all comes down to its about the young ldys. When its not about them anymore something is very wrong. My DD has played the the sports she loved sence she was 6. Now did she love them and have the passion she does now at 6 probably not. Every lady is different some are just playing sports for what they consider the fun of it during there school years. And others have a passion and work ethic that cant be matched there all different. Just let them be Kids if they want to try to go to next level support, be there for for them. Ive told mine over the years even before she probably didnt understand it play for your self and your team dont do it for anyone else not because you think your parents want you to. Do because you want to. Parents can be a great help to a team or a cancer that can rip one a part. When mine started years back me and my wife had are own issues to deal with. Youve got to step back and let them make there own mistakes and learn from them. Over all ive been around a great bunch of young ladys over the years. I say good luck to all of them in are area. Or till they play my DDs teams LOL. Just my 2 cents didnt mean to rattle on.

Going to be a great player but Ms.Basketball might be a wishful thinking.

Those rummers have been flying around for a couple of years on a couple of them . Who can say my personel thoughts on one of them it would be a good bet just my 2 cents.That brings up another topic, is a good possibly great player better off on a weeker team or a team with 2 or 3 stars.

I think we get your point. But it is correct baseball & softball are not the same in some ways. Allen is good but it still takes her team getting a runner across 4 to win a ball game its still a team effort. Memys you come from a different part of the country. What was the number of quality pitchers on a above average team.

They are two that for sure have the talent and 2 or 3 more that could develope it. But they are so young id rather not say. Girls will suprise you in just a couple of years they all could be great.There is some talent, there just young.

They do have a couple of players that could be great. That work really hard I hope things work out for them.

You hit the nail on the head. League ball mentality like i said before the position of pitcher takes more time to develope than any other spot on the field. And you have got to atleast be able to pitch strikes or your not helping the team at all.putting limits on innings would be a night mare in fastpitch only my 2cents

I seen that one and others that really dont need to be rehashed. The gum would have done it for me no respect.

You must have not watched the same games I did. Because that last part of this I seen with my own eyes.

What ive been around it doesnt just take innings. My DD works year round and you dont have that many young ladys that will comment to that.It takes alot of hours. And if you have walk fests in season games from want to be pitchers no body gets any better. If you have two top guality v pitchers in a program you are blessed. At least in this part of country. Alot of times its hard to have 1.

Your right its not relied on a much

You really dont realize till your around it alot and understand the pitching motion and what all is involved in a wind mill motion to do it right. I learn something daily seems like.When you start pitching the rise ball you might need to keep an eye on the elbo stress.Most of the time no problems.

My DD has pitched for 6yrs she is 13 . Alot of shoulder rotator cuff problems are from 2 reasons most of all poor mechs, and poor posture back strength. Alot of pitchers have not been taught right they lead with there elbow and so many other issues. My DD did this and on a long tour, weekend she would have shoulder pain. But when she got the mechs right no more shoulder pain. In fastpitch if the legs can hold up and the mechs are right no problems.Most of the power in fast pitch is in the legs. The 43 ft would make the game better for the hitters for awhile till the pitchers caught backup. For a good pitcher it wouldnt take long.
