Amber Riddle hit a monster shot tonight in the 8th inning at Boyd County High School giving her 30 career home runs and tying the state record for home runs. She now has 11 ( I believe ) on the season.

 

Boyds fence is approx. 220 feet.

Isn't she just a junior?

I had to leave earlly my DD had a pitching lesson. But a good freind said it was a shot. In the trees when it went out sounded like someone broke a two by four over some ones head. She is a great catcher to.

Congratulations on tying the HR record. A great accomplishment, and if she is only a Jr. as someone staed, then it is even more impressive.

She is just a jr. Not only can she hit but she is very good behind the plate and a nice girl too. I have had the pleasure/displeasure (depending on who you root for) of watching two of her home runs this season. You can not make a mistake with her at the plate.

From what I've seen of her she is a great team player too. She isn't all about her.

Somebody said she was walked w/ the bases loaded this season and also missed a base on another homerun and was called out.

She also hit a homerun against Raceland in Rowan Co. that went through the temporary fence and it was called a ground rule double.

She hit the record breaker tonight at Mason County.

 

Crushed it to straightaway center. The sport fence at the Rec Park is supposed to be 200 and she cleared it by a good 20-30 feet. It's also her 12th on the season which ties a state record.

Congratulations to this young lady on setting a new state record. That is a great accomplishment. Being just a junior, she should be able to extend her record by several home runs. What kind of offers is Amber receiving?

Very nice young lady. I was in the opposite dugout when she hit the record breaker. I stole a line from major leauge when she hit it. "That ball would not have been out of some parks. Really name one. Ughhh Yellowstone." :lol:

 

This young lady will go far and not just on her ability. She has a great attitude and was very humble about her accomplishment.
