Simon Kenton avenged their loss earlier in the week to Highlands beating them 25-15,25-22 last night at the Sept Slam.

I hope she is.

I am told she is not 100%. Getting closer but not there yet, I hope it is not one of those nagging season long injuries.

This was a huge upset and I agreed that Highlands has to be questioning a lot of things losing this match.

I forgot about 06 at the Fall Classic. Thanks for correcting me.. I am pretty sure the NCC LIVT win over NDA was year before last in 07, not last year.

Back in late 90's early 2000's when Campbell Co had those really strong teams, Campbell wanted to schedule NDA and NDA couldn't or wouldn't? NDA was trying to upgrade their schedule and dropped a couple teams I believe, including NCC. Now days from what I have heard between Conf games they have to play and their strong Louisville and Cincy schools schedules they have no more room. They can't drop conf matches and don't want to drop any of their strong Cincy or Louisville matches. Granted NCC the last 2 years could have given them a match (actually beat them once in LIVT tourney in 07) but they aren't close to as strong now with the graduation losses, so over the long haul I guess NDA doesn't want to drop one of the others strong matches and chance not being able to get them back on their schedule??? That is the story I have heard anyway. It would have been fun matches to watch in both instances verses CC in especially 98 & 99 and NCC in 07 & 08!!!!

I have been a packers fan since I was a kid and therefore became a big Brett Favre fan. I think he got himself in a position last year that he couldn't get out of. I think he thought he'd be welcomed back to the Packers and when he started to push, it kind of put himself in a no turning back situation. Things went south with his injury at the end of the season and he hung them up. I know he probably hated to go out that way but if it is forsure over it is probably for the best. I wish he'd have stayed retired after his last year in Green Bay or at least not waivered and comeback another year or two there with none of this bad rap. He was a winner and a very tough football player. I wish him the best in his retirement.

Favorites are Highlands and Campbell Co. NCC has a lot of rebuilding to do but I wouldn't totally count them out of the running. Depends on how they grow during the season.

St Henry lost several very good players. I don't think they will be very deep this year but Coach Kaiser always gets the most out of her players.
