It was an oustanding game. Ex Bred Estes started for Campbell and Meyer for NCC.

Great game played at Campbell County.

Campbell has beaten Highlands, Holy Cross, and Bellevue 2x. Losses to Dixie by 1, and Boone by 1 and 2.

Campbell won at Bellevue last Wednesday in muddy playing conditons, we'll see what happens the 2nd time around.

Sellers for Campbell has 3 appearances, earning a save and 2 wins in relief.

Campbell County fell behind too far too early and caught no breaks hitting into doubles plays and running out of any scoring chances. Anderson Co.'s infield was outstanding, and they did a very good job putting the ball in play and finding holes when not walked. The Camels are deep and talented and should bounce back just fine, Anderson County should have a great year.

I don't think Heringer can really determine or be sure about that yet but it has been talked about around town. Loss of the stud Woodruff was big but IMO they will be a deeper and more balanced team on offense and defense.

What will the middle infield look like this year?

Campbell County has some experience, but not much from the pitching stand point, and really they aren't too young, maybe 1 or 2 sophomores, possibly 0. They beat Harrison with Estes last year whom returns.

Really hope Shay does learn and will mature, he could've an absolute outstanding player. Major help at short and catch for Camels. But they will survive without him.

Shay's father is coaching the Big Trains this year, but Nick hasn't been released and as of now is not playing baseball this year . . he would've been a huge help at shortstop for the Camels.

If Rief can convert that JV pitching to Varsity then that is fantastic news. Sellers, Rust, and Carrier would be big pitching pluses also.

Niedderegger, Jolly, and Reiger are all outstanding and rivals in 37th.

Mutsch threw crazy hard. Coffman can mix in a curve ball, I hope he gets some mound time, he will use that arm very well behind the plate. Broering would be a big boost for the Camels, with JV kids moving up pitching should be no issue.

Does Brossart have a good pitching staff?

#3 for Scott couldn't be guarded in 2nd half! Fantastic battle back by the Camels, the final shot looked good. It's tough to beat a team 3 times, but I believe the Camles will to battle Scott once again.

If Nerl plays well Camels win, but he needs to be assertive. I don't see enough fire power form Camels O, Scott by 6-10!

Harrison will be very well prepared and of course is always ready for regional run. Covington Catholic is loaded with very talented seniors. I see them ending way better than 17th.

Not many people have the arm and speed of Bobby Estes at Campbell

The game was very close in the first half. # 15 for calvary is a very good player! The 2nd half Camels took control, it was this close because of all the late Flanigan 3's
