Are there any teams in N. Ky with a steady and set bullpen and/or closing pitcher who is clutch and can come in and get the job done early or late?

Covcath is developing a few, but they still have a long way to go. Once they get that together, the strength of the CCH team will go up even more.

He has pitched 4 1/3 innings but has been on the mound in four games against Boone County twice, Dixie and Scott without giving up a run either earned or not, all in relief. He has only given up 2 hits struck out 3 while walking no one, in facing 14 batters. He is a relief pitcher in the true sense of the word a man who Krumps will bring in to put out the fire.

Totally agree. Darner has done a great job on the couple of batters he faces a game. But truly any longer than an inning and it would get messy. When they hit him, they hit him HARD. Even the outs are hard hard hit balls. I think he does best in a situation where he needs to get one guy out [the batter]. He has done great in that sense!

Jordan Bryant from Boone has been pretty clutch even though he is a little wild. He seems to always get the job done.

I have been very suprised with the left-hander from HC number 4 I think is his number but not sure of his name. I was at the Beechwood @ HC game Friday. He came in in the 7th inning and went 1 2 3 then in the 8th came in after giving the leadoff hitter a single struck the next 2 batters out then got a groundout anyone know what his name is ?

Tyler Kincaid. He has been solid all year for Holy Cross and has 3 or 4 saves and 2 wins.

However, wildness is a dangerous trait in a reliever (not implying this specifically towards Bryant). Nothing worse than bringing in a reliever and him adding another baserunner or two via free passes.

Very good, 3 or 4 saves and 2 wins. Thrown against some good teams too.

The Sellers kid number 8 from Campbell Co. seems to get the job done. He's picked up a couple of wins and a save so far; not sure what his era is, pretty low I think.

For Ryle it has been Dice-K who has come in recently and done a fine job in relief.

Sellers for Campbell has 3 appearances, earning a save and 2 wins in relief.

I agree Coop! Relievers can't put people on base. Period! Bryant seems to be getting more confidence as the season progresses and Boone willl need it if they intend to make a serious run. Please stop raining!

Some one I would like to add to this conversation is James Jones from Dayton if we are talking about clutch relievers he is your man.
