If that's what you think okay you are entitled to opinions I totally disagree. Wins are wins and they shouldn't feel bad for scheduling East Boyd which plays Raceland also. Ashland I'll give you but really to be honest they aren't a great program anymore. They are solid but not like they used to be. Bottom line is have your team ready for districts. I know it's a hard pill for Raceland fans to swallow but Fairview along with Raceland should be battles next few years. Once again good luck to Rams.

Why do people care about this topic? Not being mean but guys come on why is it Fairview's fault Boyd and East Carter are terrible? Bracken I will give you is bad but everyone needs a win early on schedule. Other than that I see nothing with their schedule maybe play a Greenup or Russell if it can be worked out. Let's just be happy area teams are doing well and hope our area teams do well down the stretch and in playoffs. Good luck to all teams.

Why should Fairview apologize for playing the teams they play in EKC conference and last time I checked Raceland just now beat a team that had won a game. Fairview has played Lewis every season of football and why is it their fault East and Boyd suck. Scheduling doesn't take that into effect. I will give you Bracken but you wanna win early in season. You can't build a program by losing so yes Ram winning 8 games will turn into 9, 10,11 etc. Mcpeek is doing a great job with that program and they will never be mediocre again in my opinion.

He has called off the dogs, worse beating in a regional final I have ever heard of. WOW!!

Raceland not even close to LCA

TJ Shelton had over 230 yards 4 TD's and Drew Boyd 130 yards. Over 400 yards rushing tonight for the Eagles, good job!

I agree to an extend but it's never good for kids to wore out like tonight's game. Sometimes it's good for a team to work on things against a lesser team, kids aren't stupid they know what they are playing against. Ashland has a great team, and Raceland is average. Raceland has a solid program and school, but guys how in the world can they be any better than last season. I mean come on they lost a ton of players. I know they replaced them with their own kids and transfers from other schools, but geez. As far as them winning 8 they may do that, but I'm sure Boyd County, Russell, Fairview, etc. will have something to say about that. All three of those teams are solid, and can have great years also. Why would Russell kids go to Raceland? Russell is a better overall program.

I would hope not what about the schools they are playing with contracts already? That wouldn't be fair to all parties involved, I'm sure the school would want to continue with a varsity football program.

All schools and players are working hard in the offseason. It's a rule not the exception anymore. Raceland will have a fine football team this season like always, they have tradition and great fans. Hopefully teams can compete with them this season, they will have a tough time defeating Ashland 4 years in a row, but should compete with everybody else on the schedule. I was just wishing luck to all parties involved, I wasn't taking a shot at anyone. A 4A school should beat a 1A school more often, but good luck to the rebuilding effort at Greenup.
