With a margin this big, it does simply appear that Fairview is the better team this year. Maybe the two teams can meet again in the playoffs, though?

Fairview jumped out to a quick 20-0 lead, dominating the line of scrimmage.

Raceland came back in the 2nd half, playing much better defense and holding Fairview scoreless in the 3rd while scoring a td themselves. Raceland was driving doiwn 12 with a little over 5minutes to go only tp get stopped by another turnover. Fairview takes the ball and scores and it was lights out from there.

As I said, Fairview won this game on the line, had pressure on Farley all night. Farley threw four interceptions tonight.

Again.....Fairview deserves the credit.

 

We will probably see you again in a few weeks Eagles, in the playoffs.

Hopefully someone can give us a report on Litteral, Raceland RB. He went down in the first qtr. of this one with what wlgc described as a possible knee injury. Litteral did come back in th game late in the 3rd qtr..

I think you are right about that. Very good team. Fast and strong. To much for the young RAMS tonight! They deserve a jump in the rankings! Congrats to a very good Fairview team.

Once again pressure the qb and he falls apart. The corners and secondary needs help also.

:lol: I knew that someone would say that. If there were more Fairview fans on bgp they would certainly deserve to crow, not just a little bit but a whole lot.

About what I figured

I hate to lose to Fairview, I can take a loss to anyone else, but a Fairview loss really stings!! Fairview is a legit team!! Raceland was beat in all phases of the game. It's hard to win a game when your players are arguing amongst each other at halftime. I saw those kids come back on the field for the third quarter and not one of them had a hungry look in their eyes. Halfway through the third quarter we finally decided to play some football. I would like to see us go deep more and stop throwing so many screens, Farley has the arm for it!! Next week doesn't get any easier, but I think we can win, we need to win!!
