It doesn't matter what they did in the past its what their doing now and thats sweeping district again...Some fresh competition cant hurt them... since the teams in SK's current system never do anything in the playoffs, then playing them in the regular season does nothing to prepare SK for the playoffs

The team will still be at school for the chicken nuggets, it's a Friday tradition DUH!!! In all seriousness though if SK loses it's probably because the players grabbed their sneakers and forgot their cleats at home...Or maybe SK wasn't ready for the field conditions..If SK loses it's simply because they played a bad game, I'll never make a ridiculous excuse for my team losing.

I'm game its easy to converse when your team wins and they just keep winning...Nothing really to talk about when your team wins, i'm at most games so when they lose I will converse with anyone that wants too talk.

Facts are facts SK is beginning to own their current district and that cant help you come playoff time...Although Lexington schools always underachieve they play a style more similar too what SK will see against the Louisville schools in the playoffs...

Simon Kenton although they now have to travel benifits from the realignment...They have proven that their current district is no longer challenging to them and they have caught onto the vanilla schemes that they run year in and year out...SK will now face new schemes with better athletes which will prepare them more for the playoffs...Also dominating Lexington will spread the word of them becoming a powerhouse to a new area because in the next few years nky would have finally caught onto it anyways...Maybe the new district can give SK a chance to play their starters for an entire game!

Never seen you post before, nice contribution rook...Thanks by the way I take pride in making great points! SK has lost 20 points a game and they have made up 11 points a game from last years defense that's pretty good considering the old cliche that Defense wins Championships!!!...In the end its' all settled on the gridiron and SK is 5-1 the same as last year and they will be meeting Trinity in the state finals.

SK also gave up 113 through 6 games last year compared to 92 this year which is third in the state in 6A out of 36 teams...WOW...I believe that the the improvement in their defense has help reduce the impact of losing Simpson...Its just my opinion SK keeps improving every week and Ryle in my eyes is a huge underdog this week...You can't stop Chad Lawrence you can only hope to hold him to a first down and not a touchdown lol...He gets at least a first down I'd say probably 75% or more of the times he touches the ball which is everyplay...

Yes with the balance they are presenting this year, no longer the Miles Simpson show I feel they are just as potent...I didn't say more potent but the Chad Lawrence show has begun and it's not showing any signs of slowing up, His receivers catch almost everything and the only way to bring them down is too gang tackle them...Their defense is definitely improved and that makes up for what they lost in Simpson...Many people thought SK was done once Simpson graduated but they might be more dangerous now because Lawrence was second fiddle, granted he still shined but now he's the man...Lawrence can pass and run its like running the wildcat formation every time and it's almost impossible to shut him down, the O-line is improving drastically and SK is dangerous.

How does Elliot make a difference, he didn't last year? Cooper and Campbell both almost beat Ryle with Elliot and those two teams have no where near the defense of Sk...Neither of those teams had an offense like Sk does either...Sk has stopped every team that has tried to run the ball against them, Ryle can't pass...One more thing Sk is gelling, Ryle is melting away to a shell of Elliot and that shell is not going too keep covering up Ryles many flaws! Elliot is good but he cant beat the good teams by himself, hints the outcome of the Highlands game

Sk's offense has been just as potent this year without Simpson and they beat Ryle easily last year...I can't see how Ryle wins only if Elliot plays, they won't win either way they didn't last year and they won't this year...Sk can key on the run and shut down Elliot just as they did last week against Bradley of Cooper...If Ryle couldn't stop Cooper and Campbell theres no way they stop Sk

Actually the Camels can pass but believe it or not Sk might have an even better attack...all the camels do is pass and Ryle still couldnt stop it, but Sk can pass just as good as CC, only SK can run too...Chad Lawrence is a defenses nightmare on the ground and through the air

SK has a very good kicking game, however many times they catch a team off guard by lining up the entire kicking team opposite their QB Chad Lawrence if Chad likes his match up they direct snap it to Chad and he runs it in...It's usually very successful but it failed one time last night as Chad dove for the pylon and just came up short...Theirs a name for this play but I can't remember it...I've seen Herald the SK kicker hitting 50 Yard FG's before the games

SK's defense has given up the third fewest points in all of 6A this year behind Trinity and Greenwood...SK has given up 92, Greenwood 84, Trinity 79...I like SK's chances to be in the game with anyone in the state because of their defense...And I like SK's chances to blow out anyone in 6A not named Trinity with Chad Lawrence and his many receivers on Offense

Sage delivered a blow on that play that's for sure...I love the Heart Sage displays out on the field, he is always very into the game and enthusiastic...He also has wheels, the kid can fly and he needs more touches on offense because if you get him on the corner he has a great chance to be gone and it gives the opposing defense more to worry about then they already have when facing the Neers!!!
