Why doesnt Corbin ever play Whitley and Knox. I know Corbin plays the Laurel schools, so why not just add those as well.

But every other sport but football has like 30 games to schedule, so teams have to be careful who they schedule with only 10 games. Why would Corbin rather play the Laurel schools over Rockcastle? Please dont say travel time for fans or busses.

Why would corbin play North and South Laurel and not Rock. It would be a better game. has either Laurel school ever beat Corbin? Why do teams who continue to lose keep playing those teams? Corbin should step up their schedule adn play a lot of big boys, teh only team in the Dist is Bell, the rest are easy wins. Maybe this is why Corbin always has such a good record, easy games.

Is corbin thinking about playing Rockcastle? I think they wil have some open dates. I remember we had some great games with them. who does corbin even play now? Are they playing Harlan Co?

Name me a team or coach who wouldnt drive 5 hours to be in the semi-finals.

Wow, Lexington catholic put it is 70 miles to Rockcastle. I travel there all of the time and it is 45 miles from exit 62 to Athens exit. Sounds like you guys are scared of bluebirds.

You are right, it would never be considered. BUT can we have a little fun and see what it could look like. I mean does a team who never has a chance deserve a chance. Yes we all know Highlands would win every class, but some teams never get a chance at success based on population, tradition, geography, youth league underdevelopment. We all cant be like the mighty Bluebirds. Does anyone know the records of each team for the last 10 years, as in who has won the least. This is for fun. I bet there are some 80 yr olds who can outrun a few 30 yr olds.

At least fix an alignment that is competitive for all. I mean does Berea ever stand a chance vs Beechwood or Mayfield.

Could someone fix a new alignment based on ability of schools and their past. For example some teams will never be any good or able to compete at a high level, while some Highlands, some Louisville schools can.

Well I guess everyone else in 6A is inferior to ST X AND TRINITY. Why should a team have to play Trinity in the semis and ST X in the finals. How fair is that. When both get to play inferior teams in the playoffs. Better yet let them play in Indiana, Louisville is that color of red anyway.

Make St. X and Trinity play in the semi-finals and not allow them to ever meet in the championship game. They always sell out regular season but from what I hear they dont travel out of Louisville very well, especially according to some who went to Bowling Green for the championship games. This at least gives another team a chance to at least make it to the title game and allow for fans to come and spark some excitement. Quit aking it about the money.

actually we have 2 of the top 50 JR's in the state on the team. Coach Parkey's first year he was loaded and the next year we had a good team also but lost a few close games and had our first losing season. Next year is our year, we should be loaded. We only lose 1 player. We may be looking at our first back to back losing season n I dont know when. We have fallen way off. Why??? I bet Rock will not play Bell anymore.

I meant to add that there will be no changes next year because none need to be made. I mean we will be pretty good next year, we only lose 1 player off the team. We are JR heavy and play a lot of underclassmen, so watch out for next year.

I say, since this is for fun, put St. X and Trinity in the same bracket so it will never be St. X vs Trinity. Even in real life 6A, they should not be allowed to play for the title. Everyone knows it is for money.

Everyone has a down year. One year or another. It would be tough though to win.
