I hope the NCC coaching staff are not game planning by what has been posted in a thread on BGP. Not looking to stay employed very long. If they are, I hope they are studying all SKs 2nd string/JV. That would be interesting...

They'll be fine. Receiving corp did fine when Huesman was out. Bryon is the back up safety and he has no problem hitting people.

Heard last night that SK will be without Wilson (separated shoulder) and Wassom (possible broken thumb). Guess the boys went hard at it in practice yesterday.

SK has impressed more and more each week, if NewCath hasn't gotten healthy it could get ugly. I'm guessing with a program as good as they are they will find a way to represent at home but it's not enough...SK 28-17.

31-7 half SK. Pioneers having their way. Only reason Holmes scored was on a fumble return.

They will be a lot more explosive when Huesman gets right. He's still not coming off the ball like he can so timing's a little off with Kuntz. Last week is a perfect example, he wouldn't have been caught from behind and he would have run under the deep ball that missed.

If every team had a fan with the nads, and to be genderly correct the female equivalent, that UK #1 fan does, no one would complain. Not that i agree with everything he says but you got to love the support and enthusiasm. Says in his user name he's the #1 fan and doubt anyone would dispute that. Calling out X is a little much for me but with maybe the exception of the top 2 in NKY I believe they got a shot against everyone around here.

I sincerely hope that's not the case. The kid is a great ball player. Hate to see his senior year get cut short.

From everything I've heard, Huesman will be back for this one. There were at least 3 plays SK usually runs that they didn't against Danville that have him on the receiving end. I believe SK's offense will be much improved and actually finish this week and it will be a close game. If the Pioneers have matured last Friday and figured out how to win instead of making a mistake and losing, they got a shot. We all know Beechwood already knows how to do that.

I'm not counting the interception Kuntz had around the 5 yd line either. That was just a bad throw into tight coverage, same as the 2 picks Wilson had. I was just counting the open throws that hit the receivers right in the hands that weren't caught. I beleive both of those patterns would have been Huesman on the other end if he was healthy and the result would not have been the same. I give the Ads credit, they moved the ball, but it seemed to me that SK's D stopped them when they needed to. By the way, has ANYONE ever heard of a team being held short on 4th down, the referees signaling 1st down the other way, chains already moved, then the other coach requests a measurement and the refs agree and overturn the call???? Seems like one heck of a play for the team that was short. It would have to be 1st down everytime!

2 wide open passes for TD's dropped and the only ones that could stop Sky's offense was themselves. Score should not have been that close. Chase Wilson had a monster game on D with 2 picks when really needed

The Pioneers will be without their best receiver this week. Huesman has not been cleared by the docs to play after the hip pointer last week at St. X. By all accounts he will be ready next week for Beechwood. Maybe some 2-way play from Swanson and Wilson will help against Danville.

35-0. No one scored in the 2nd half. SK stepped up and played better. I know X subbed generously but so did Simon. SK O looked better moving the ball but couldn't finish. Losing Huesman early didn't help. Anyone know how the X player that went down is doing?
