Wow! Who's bright idea was it to have it at BOK facilities anyway? Rotate that around the regions biggest gyms. Yeah the bank is greedy, I dont know the details but sounds like who ever made the decisions for the region was greedy also. Hopefully this will change.

Nice work mcpapa I like stats. We have talked about strongest teams in the regions, but we havent done top to BOTTOM and this thread is about the weakest region. I think people might be suprized if you factor in all the teams. Take the 6th region for example who have alot of bad teams. The 9th region has alot of strong teams, but if you count those bad teams too, maybe they aren't the 3 best region in the state. Regions like the 4th and the 5th(my fav) look better doing bottom to top. mcpapa I am not asking you to do an average for all of the regions, that would be alot of work. lol Thanks for what you have done.

lol Well there is no way that Holmes will stay # 2. If they seeded the regions they wouldn't even by the #1 seed in the 9th, as of now.

There is alot of ways to look at things, the 6th region might be better top to bottom than the 15th, but who has a better at winning a State title first? Of course another way to look at it is that Shelby Valley is in the bottom bracket and who ever from the 6th region is in the top bracket.

Who are your top 2 though? The top 2 of this weeks poll or next weeks poll? One of the top 2 from this week's has slipped, not sure what two are set in stone?

If you look at which region has the best chance to win the Sweet Sixteen this year, then the 15th and 16th are two of the top regions.

I agree, very true. I was on a roll there comparing the wins and forgot about Boone Co having two more losses than Cov-Holmes.

When you get out of the 7th and the 11th region it's like that for alot of teams. Look at the 9th region, who most people consider the 3rd best region, you got Cov-Holmes and Boone County, two very comparable teams. Holmes best win #1 Scott Co, Boone's best win #1 Holmes. After that there isn't much to hang you hat on except for Ballard, Holmes won by a little, Boone Co lost by a little. For Holmes; Bryan Station offsets with a win and a loss. If Holmes is ranked in the top 2 or 3, how can Boone Co not be a top 10, especally top 20. Only Ballard separates them by a very little and I'm not convinced that Ballard is a top 5 type anyway, Adair Co beat them last year and Boone Co has taken care of AC easily the last two years.

I am very curouis about that Polston kid, he must be very skilled at getting to the basket and quick. I didnt see the stats on that game just hear say, did he for a fact make 37 FTs? That is a state record for Freethrows in a game, he also set in for attemps, But they do not have him listed. So I dont know if they only update a certain time of the year? They did have him listed on there breifly the day after but took it off.

Russell County is a hard team to figuire out they started out 16-1 with only loss out of state team. But since then is 3-3 with losses to teams that dont have a winning record. Maybe they have had some injuries? I like Adair Co 63 to 51

I think Eastern deserves to be ranked 2nd, they have only 1 loss. I dont know what kind of a lineup they have or who would win between them and Holmes, but in general when you lose and the team below you does not them you move down in the polls. I understand you got confidense in your team and feel they are better than Eastern, but BGP poll should move Eastern up if they dont lose this week. Although they got a whole week since Cov-Holmes loss, time sometimes makes people forget.

Common now guys you know Holmes would have to be moved down. Eastern has to be the #2, not sure where to put Holmes.

I just noticed Seneca at 12th, I dont know? Check thier schedule they have played very good team and thier 9 losses were to Eastern, Ballardx2, Cov-Holmes, Trinity, Male, Manual, Apollo and Owensboro. Most of those losses were close with the largest margin 16 to Ballard, Holmes by 11 and everybody else single digits. On the other hand thier best wins are South Laurel and North Hardin.

No that isnt a bad loss, Boone Co is legit and you get them and Holmes on a neutral court and its pretty even.

Boone County is not my team, but I like to follow them because I have been impressed with them. I have had one criticism about Boone Co that I quess they proved me wrong, or maybe they can't, but you dont have to be able to shoot from the outside to win. Dont know how may they attempted? but they made no 3 point shoots. Well done!

Nice work Ram. I think those rankings will change after last nights games and new polls come out. I would more Corbin, Boone Co, Clark Co, and Jtown up and move Holmes, Ballard, Mason Co down.

Boone and Corbin Counties belong in the top ten IMO.

So has thier been any word on Pittmans injury? Courier-Journals Demling blog says that coach Henley told the Cinny Enquirer that Pittman was going to have X-ray done on wrist noting that it doesn't look good.
