I didn't expect Letcher to play this well at JBS. I didn't think JBS had any weaknesses, but Letcher must have found it and took advantage of it. Anyone have details and stats?

I agree that Hazard can win on a given night. Coach Holland will definitely give the dogs the advantage in this matchup.

I think he was ejected from a game and had to sit out the next game.

I think it is a great opportunity for the student athletes to be able to travel and see places that some of them will never get to see otherwise. I think all schools should allow teams to travel and reward student athletes for the hard work and dedication that they exhibit throughout the season if it is possible financially.

Can Owsley compete with Lee,Powell and Estill. They were runners-up in the district last year and made a surprise trip to the regional tournament.

Which teams from the 14th have you seen play?

JBS and Hazard are the two best teams right now. Cordia, Knott and Breathitt are a close third. PCC can beat some teams if they control the tempo.

I agree that Cordia can make some noise in the region, but they are in a tough district with June Buchanon,Knott, Letcher and Jenkins. If they can make it out of the district they will be a tough first round region foe. I thimk they actually lost to Forest Park according to the KHSAA 48-52, but they must have played pretty good. They were scheduled to play Lawerence Co. in the consolation game. Thanks for the info.

Coach Holland does a great job of preparing his team for each opponent. He also has lots of good athletes which always helps.

That would almost be as entertaining as watching someones coaching staff scuffle on the sidelines!

Who plays in the other two games? Which of the 4 teams you listed are you a fan of and what did the administrators tell them to do?
