Corbin handed Middlesboro their first loss of the season just 10 days after Middlesboro beat Corbin by 27 points.

Don't know this kid, but I do know that it will be tough for anyone in any grade to compete for the starting QB job this fall. Ryan Moses led the Yellow Jackets to a great season this year as a sophomore. I don't think he is gonna get replaced anytime soon.

That is funny. I think Knox Central has knocked off Jackson County twice this year. Lost an overtime heartbreaker to Boone County as well. Knox Central may not win (I think they will), but they won't lose by 15.

It would surprise me greatly to see Pineville win the All A. They simply won't do it. They have a solid team, but they are by no means great IMO. I like their coach and I think they have a pretty talented team as well, but Cumberland will not lose to Pineville period.

Doesn't matter if it goes into the triple overtime and Cumberland wins on a last second 60 footer. Cumberland still wins. Almost winning never shows up in the Wins and Losses. Cumberland has too much talent for Pineville. They will not lose to Pineville on any court.

Yeah, but I saw Lynn Camp and Red Bird play each other. I saw Harlan at the Hoopin' it Up tourny and I was blown away when I saw that score. I wasn't so shocked that Harlan won, but by 30 was crazy.

Didn't Harlan beat Red Bird by 30? What happened there? I know Harlan is way down this year. Did Davis not play in that game?

Pineville nor Middlesboro will beat Cumberland on any court. Pineville needed overtime and a crazy amount of free throws to beat Lynn Camp tonight and Middlesboro lost to overrated Bell County tonight.

I don't know coach Patterson that well, but from what I have seen of him he isn't going to sit a kid because of anyone's political standing. I may be way behind on this one, so if someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it.

Lynn Camp may surprise some teams this year. Pineville came in very highly touted and the Campers almost knocked them off. Congrats to LC on the effort. Congrats to Pineville for pulling it off.

It's gonna be Cumberland vs. Lynn Camp and the Redskins will win an ugly physical game.

I think the poll looks pretty good. I definately agree on Whitley County at #10 and Corbin at #1. I may put Knox Central as my #2 in front of Cumberland. Cumberland is very good, but they have also played a very favorable schedule thus far. Corbin and Knox Central both have played far superior competition.

Corbin will have no trouble in this one. They will win this one 84-35.

This isn't college hoops. Deaton didn't recruit this boys lol. 11 or more of them are Freshman or sophomores. Baker has this team on track to higher ground IMO.

Trust me I am not biased. Not towards Corbin anyway. I have friends who are coaches for other teams....some really good and some that are struggling. I have absolutely no ties to Corbin, but I recognize good teams and talent when I see it. Everyone that has watched the game online (with the exception of you of course) seems to have the same opinion as me. I know if the boys from the Southern or Southeastern end of the state beat a team from anywhere else in the state they must have the refs in their pocket. It is the only logical explanation right? Anyone know where I can get me a Redhounds T-shirt? :laugh:

I just watched the game online. Maybe you should check it out. Didn't see that many "lopsided" calls. Saw MC hacking a lot. Reaching in, swatting at balls, and just plain holding the Corbin players. Check it out and then give your opinion instead of all the "unbiased opinions" lol. I think you underestimate the 13th Region as well. Knox Central is very good, Clay County is good, Cumberland is Very good, Middlesboro is good, Pineville is good, Lynn Camp is good, North and South Laurel both have good teams. There are plenty of good teams in the 13th. I can see you are anti-Corbin for some reason. It's cool. I am one of those "non-biased" guys you speak of. Corbin isn't my team at all. I just know good basketball when I see it. I have a new moto though...."when in doubt, blame it on the refs"

Fact is Corbin would beat Madison Central at least 75 percent of the time they play. Madison Central as athletic as they are just don't shoot the ball very well. They don't handle the pressure defense very well either. Hate on Corbin all you want. Boone County beat them in the same tournament. Last time I checked Boone County is located further from the 13th Region that Madison Central is. Funny how the officiating didn't affect the outcome of this game. You know what else is funny? There aren't any Corbin fans on here talking about how they were robbed. No sir, I have seen several posts from Corbin fans sending congrats to Boone County though. Officiating, even bad officiating, is part of every game. It is something as a team you must be prepared to deal with too. Mark it down...Corbin will have a much better season than Madison Central.

WC is a fun team to watch. They never give up and they are always hustling. I like Zach Powers. The kid is one of the best pure shooters I have seen. Maybe his defense and other parts of his game will soon catch up and he will make some noise over the next two years.

Yeah free throws were the bigget difference. Boone County also played excellend defence. Boone missed their first FT of the fourth and then knocked down 12 in a row. Boone has a really good team. I look for them to continue to make noise this year.

Merry Christmas. Cheer up it is holiday time. Corbin and Boone County were clearly the two teams that should have been in the finals.

I agree with this post. I really feel like jump balls are called to quickly and too often.
