As far as 38th district schools are concerned they should worry less about where the region is and Pendleton, Deming, and Nicholas should work together to setup a rotation for the 38th district tournament. From what I understand Harrison has had it the last two year and will have it this year and in 09 and 10.

I believe that Bracken and Campbell have been playing since Campbell moved into the region back in 1997. IF this Classic Reitz scheduling then it would be CLassic Sullivan scheduling also.

IMO I don't think regional tournaments should be hosted together. I know the 6th and 7th do it. SOme I've talked to like it and other don't.

It wouldn't produce more revenue. You would have to pay NKU no telling how much. This would take away from the money for the participating schools. I agree it would get everyone in because I don't think the people would travel to NKU as they do Maysville. I still think Pendleton would go for it but not Harrison.

Just guessing. But don't you guys think the 9th Region will most likely have the region at NKU every year? This would cause some scheduling problems. Please don't suggest the 9th and 10th play their tournaments together.

Why would the 38th vote to have it at NKU? I could see Pendleton Co. voting for it there because of the short distance for them. Do you honestly think Harrison Co., Nicholas Co, and Deming would go for that? That's over an hour for each school. I think it safe to say that the 38th will vote for Mason Co. I could see the following rotation when it comes time for each district to vote. 37th NKU 38th Mason Co. 39th Mason Co. 40th Montgomery Co.

The 10th Region Tournament is unlike any other region tournament. Just because other regions rotate we have to? Those regions don't have the facilities like the fieldhouse. Like I said in an earlier post let Montgomery Co host it. Although it pains me to see it leave the Fieldhouse. But, I think it will be a mess and everyone will be happy to see it return to it rightful spot in 2009.

This new facility is nice and state of the art. IMO I just don't think it can hold the semi and final round crowds. With that said I say let Montgomery have a shot and see where the cards fall. I predict many will be turned away at the door and this will cause a major uproar among some of the fans. It will be interesting to see some of the threads come March.

Guys you have to put this loss behind you and get ready for a tough game Tues. with St. Pat. Remember what does not kill you will only make you stronger.

Why does everyone always want to question the King twins age? They are 15 years old and will be 15 the entire basketball season. I'm pretty sure Mason Co. has some Freshman that have been held back. But yet we don't hear much fuss over that. The Stenzel kid from Clark Co. was held back. But we don't hear much fuss over that either.

Augusta has a good concession stand. I attended the Deming and Harrison Co. game at Deming and they had a killer BBQ sandwich. I give the thumbs up to both concessions.

Could the 10th Region possibly have the strongest freshman class in the state? Clark Co. has Robbies Stenzel and two other young men I can't recall their names. Mason Co. with Pawsatt and Setty and Deming has Luke and Kyle King. I know there are other freshman in the region that are contributing to their teams. These are just some that I have seen this year and are very impressed with. Can you name any others and what do you think about this class of young men?

I agree Les most all the games I go to have a scheduled time for varsity also. But, very few ever really get started at the right time for some reason or another.

Hope Deming wins. I'm afraid Fleming will be to physical for the Devils.

I love the Fieldhouse no better gym in the state IMO. I agree with Augusta as well. Always a good atmosphere. I always get a sense of Hoosiers when I walk into that gym. Always very loud and great atmosphere.
