Wonder what Deming team showed up. Really thought Deming would take this game.

Fleming had a good size lead throughout the game...demning started to fight back towards the end but it wasnt enough

Tough one for the Devils. Thought they would win this one.

The score was no indication of how the game went. FC was up most of the game by 10-15 points. Deming made the score much closer by fouling at the end of the game. I was not impressed by Deming. They might have had a bad game, but were not impressive. The point guard from FC, Dugan, played a great game. He got hacked, knocked down, and was double and triple teamed most of the game. He is one of the better point guards I've seen this year. He sees the floor very well and really handles pressure on the ball. This FC team is very young. I look for them to make some noise in a couple of years. They also have some good teams coming up at the 6-8 grade levels.

Didn't make the game due to work but I got wind of it when I got home. Heard the game was a knock down drag out sort of match. Did Grause play in this one?

I will agree that the officiating was pretty terrible both ways. I was trying to make the point that he did a great job of handling the ball while being fouled consistently and being double and triple teamed. At one point in the fourth quarter while Deming was trying to foul to get back in the game one of the officials looked over at the Deming coach and asked him if he (the coach) wanted him (the official) to call the foul. Even the Deming crowd saw that and was commenting on the situation. The game was very physical. I think the majority of people thought Deming would come to FC and win this ballgame easily. I just don't think Deming is nearly as good as their fans seem to think.

They beat Bourbon pretty easy. Beat Harriosn by 20 at home. Beat Augusta by 40 and 2. Beat a young but tough Brossart team. Maybe they just play inconsistent.

You said you didn't think Deming was as good as their fans think they are? Beating those teams above was no easy task. I would love to see Fleming play Deming in the Devil Dome. It would be the same outcome as St.Pat. St.Pat lost by 2 (?) in OT and then whipped up on them by 18 in Bracken. Fleming Co. is not very good, until they play at home.

I had a feeling that Fleming would take this. They have been playing excelent basketball.
